Hi
We are staying here for a couple of nights...

Which building would/do you prefer?

Casitas
Ranchos
Cabanas

I voted for the Ranchos as I think they are the most thoroughly themed area. The Cabanas have a nice atmosphere as well. The Casitas are beautiful but it reminds me more of just a hotel than being taken away somewhere. Any of them will be fine though!!! :)

Okay I only have experience with Cabana's since I've only stayed here once, but we LOVED that location!

Have fun!

I voted for the Cabanas for location. We were there in early Oct. and stayed in the Casitas 2 section. The room was beautiful and the outdoor courtyards in Casitas were to die for, but we thought it was like a maze trying to find our way to El Centro! (At least the walk was beautiful!) Also, I think I would have preferred to be closer to the Dig Site.

Whichever section you choose, you won't be disappointed! CSR is a beautiful resort!

We were in Casitas 4. Very close to a bus stop, with a lovely water view towards the Dig Site. :boat: El Centro was pretty close by, too. If you want to be close to the pool, Cabanas is the place to be.:hyper:

Thanks for all your replies.

Cabana's look nice, fingers crossed then:D

We stayed in Cabana 8A which has an ideal location if your concern is being close to the main pool The Dig Site. There is also a bus stop right there.

Cabana 8A sits sideways, so regardless of what side of the building you are on, you don't get any direct parking lot views!

If we ever stay there again, I'd request the same building.

We stayed in the casitas. They were very private and very close to the bus stop, which made getting to other parks easier. The laundry was very close too. The only thing I noticed was that we had a very long walk to the main buildings. So, if you are planning on exploring the resort a lot and going to the restaurants, et cetera, I would say Cabanas. However, if you want to mostly go to the parks and not spend much time at the resort, the Casitas have a nice feel to them.

was Cabanas. CSR is a beautiful resort - the best moderate in my opinion. We've stayed there 3 times. All 3 times, we stayed at Cabanas. We liked the view of the white sand around the lake and the closeness to the dig site pool. Casitas is closest to the main area, but that's not particularly important for us.

We've requested Casitas 2 or 3 so I'll let you know how it goes later next month. Can't wait! :earsboy:
