Which building at CSR and why?

Hi. I'm a first time poster here. I read alot of the posts on the Coronado Springs Resort, and I have looked at lots of pictures and different websites too. We booked our trip for Jan 24th to the 28th there. Hopefully it will not be overrun by a convention. We like the theme of the Ranchos, but it seems like it is far from all the action. Does anybody have any suggestions for us. We are a family of four, 2 children 10 and 8 years old. Thanks in advance.

We stayed in Cabanas 9A. It was great. It was a very short walk to the main pool and El Centro. I was afraid the walk would be terrible after reading some of the posts but I was very satisfied. We were there in mid July and the walk was actually very relaxing for us. Our building was at the quiet pool which was wonderful during that time of the year because the big pool was crowded. We usually had the quiet pool to ourselves most of the time. Any more question about CSR, just let me know.
