Which building at CBR has best view of parking lot?

For future reference, where is the parking lot? What buildings would offer me the best view of the lot? (Which I don't want to look at!)

More buildings have a view of the parking lot than ones that don't. And not every room in those buildings would have views of the parking lot. There are a few buildings that have NO parking lot views. One of them is Martinique 25.

There isn't just one central parking lot. There are parking lots around the perimeter of the entire resort. The buildings that have NO views of the parking lots are the ones that are set back further, closer to the beach/lake.

From what I can see on my map, there buildings appear to have no parking lot views:

Martinique 25 (definitely no parkinglot view, close to OPR)
Martinique 22
Trinidad North 32 (close to OPR)
Trinidad South 35 (very FAR from OPR)
Trinidad South 38 (FARTHEST from OPR)
Jamaica 42
Jamaica 45 (just over bridge and island to OPR)
Aruba 52
Aruba 55
Barbados 12
Barbados 15

For the buildings that do look out at the parking lots, what is the distance from room to parking lot?

That would vary greatly. There are some rooms where you could see a glimpse of a parking lot but still have a grassy area and a bit of a walk to get to it. Others appear to be pretty close to the parking lot with a direct view of the lot, and then there's everything in between. I think the buildings are mostly set up on angles away from the parking lots to offer better views, but I did notice some buildings that looked squarely out to the lots with less than 50 feet from the lot to the room doors. When you check in, request that you not have a parking lot view, or at least not a direct view of a lot, and I think they will try to accomodate you. After having walked the entire resort last month, I think that most of the rooms at CBR have decent views with a small percentage having direct parking lot views.

I thought for a moment you WANTED a parking lot view!!
Maybe to keep an eye on your car!? That would something my mother would do! She is so afraid of someone stealing it!!
and it isn't even a great car!! LOL
And then there is my DH who doesn't want to carry the luggage too far, so parking lot views are fine with him.

Me.......well, I much prefer the quiet lake view
Let them steal the car......that just means we can stay longer

Unlike regular hotels and motels where you can have cars outside your door, this resort is nicely landscaped with the parking lots being about 50 feet or so from the nearest buildings.

You can unload luggage by parking in the circle closest to your room/building and then moving to the lot after unloading.

As for view, the shrubs and other landscaping are mostly what you see from the ground floor and the second floor view varies with location. From any room, it's only a short walk to a bench along the walkway by the water or you can hang out on the patio area by the main pool.

Do they have bell services at the CBR? I usually am traveling with my huisband and son but this is a girl trip and I guess I am spoiled.

Because the windows of the rooms are facing the walkway, most of us leave our shades pulled for privacy and never really use the "view" from the room. It's kind of a non issue for me personally. I am more concerned about being able to wander the grounds and enjoy the atmosphere and I am always interested in the proximity to the bus stop, food court, and pools.

They do have bell services at CBR. We used Tiffany Towncar's limo service from the airport and were dropped off at Custom House to check in. Then Bell services took us and our luggage directly to our room. Bell services handled our luggage at all times.

When we stayed at CBR 3 years ago we also used Tiffany. They delivered and pickup luggage from the room, but it can be a long wait since the resort is so large and they have to load them into a van.

We stayed in Martinque 25 and loved it, had a courtyard view. Part of 26 had some close parking lot views.

If you have a waterview room you will not be looking at the parking lot at all....you'll forget it's there and be right in the "island" feel.
