Which buffet has the best and most extensive breakfast buffet/brunch?

We're doing Boma on Fri. Really excited. My parents are really into coffee and I heard the pressed pot of coffee there is excellent.

I've read every breakfast buffet and so far the only ones that really interested me in terms of selection (even though they are all pretty similar) are Boma and 1900 Park Fare. Maybe that's because my famiily eats at breakfast buffets quite often and these two are especially unique. What either breaks or makes a breakfast buffet for me is the quality and taste of the scrambled eggs and bacon.

I would definitely keep Boma. It is really the best breakfast in all of WDW. If they don't have Zebra Domes on the buffet for breakfast (I don't remember from our last trip, but I don't think I would've expected them at breakfast anyway), you can always pick some up at the Mara while you're there. Boma is terrific. We have to have breakfast and dinner there, it's our must-do restaurant.

I would also like to add votes for Boma at AKL, and Fresh, the buffet at the Swan (or is it Dolphin) hotel, an Epcot area resort.

I have never been impressed with the character buffets. I think you are paying for the characters, not the food. At Boma and Fresh, the food is center stage. Fruit selections are varied and bountiful. There are omelette stations and you can get all sorts of wonderful sweet breakfast foods.

Oh, and Boma's pressed pot coffee is v. good. I think Fresh serves Starbucks.

What is fresh?

Fresh Mediterranean Market is in the Dolphin Resort. We've had wonderful breafasts there. It's not a character meal at all. They do these amazing freshly pressed/squeezed juice blends along with the usual breakfast fare.

I LOVED HEARDING EVERYONES IDEA!!! I love breakfast buffets and I am going to try my hardest to get reso's at CP.. its sounds so yummy! :) :cool1: :thumbsup2

The Trail's End at Fort Wilderness has a great breakfast buffet at a reasonalble price best deal for your money. Also they make fantastic donuts, plenty of good food! We have tried all of the buffets there and were happy with them all!

We really love Crystal Palace and will be eating there again in December (as well as my mom and I dining there in Sept!) The added benefit with getting an early ADR is walking down a nearly empty Main Street and that to me is priceless!

Trail's End at FW was a great get away for us and, I believe, the best deal we had on a meal during our stay. Plus, my church group always camped when I was a teenager so it was a bit of a stroll down memory lane.

Our favorite breakfast buffet is Donald's Breakfastasourus. The selection was much better than the Princess Breakfast at Norway.

I do think it is worth the time to visit the resort and those restaurants as that is an experience in and of itself.

Best overall - Crystal Palace
Best value- Trail's End
Best Tasting - Crystal Palace
Most variety - 1900 Park Fair or Crystal Palace
Most Unique - Boma
Best Characters - Chef Mickey's
Most Missed - Top of the World at CR :guilty:

While CP is my favorite, I can see how you might not want to eat there w/ a dinner ADR later on.

If you will be at MK, I'd suggest 1900 Park Fair based on proximity, but to be fair I *loved* Boma!

Choose what you think will work best for your schedule and tastes. :) Do you want characters or not? If not, you might find a cheaper option in Trail's End. A little out of the way, but great food and a great value. I loved the jelly jar style juice glasses.

My favorite Character meal is 1900 Park Fare. There Dinner has alot of Italian and fancy/vegatarian dishes as well as stuff for the kids to enjoy. Your kids would love it. The breakfast is fantastic as well. It has many pleasers. Definitely go here. My favorite dish at Dinner is the 5 cheese lasagne and at breakfast I love the mickey shaped waffles and the peach and vanillia bread pudding. Here are the menus just incase you need them.
