We are wanting to do a character breakfast on the last morning which one
PCH Surf's Up, Goofy's Kitchen or Storytellers
Which one is the best.......

Depends on what your criteria is. Are there certain characters you want to see? Each place has different characters walking around. Do you want the one with the best food, most characters, certain characters?

Ive only done Minnie's n friends breakfast at the the plaza inn and it was terrific. Lots of characters, great interaction and the food is good (not great but I don't think breakfast food is ever great.

Pluto is her favorite---we need to stay outside of the parks as we are heading to Knotts for the day. We always do Chef Mickeys for breakfast or dinner at the world, but this is the 1st visit in about 20 years to DL

We saw Pluto at Surf's Up in the PPH in May and December of last year. Surf's Up is also the only buffet breakfast with Mickey Mouse. We also Minnie, Daisy, Stitch, and Max there in December. Surf's us does an interactive little dance show for kids that is lots of fun (how old is she?).

Storytellers is more forest animals from Brother Bear and such. My youngest son (3) loved it because he finds it less scary than "Giant Mickey Mouse." It is my parents', as well as my oldest daughter's (18), favorite because of the food quality. You can also save a little money ordering off the regular menu instead of the buffet, though some will argue it isn't worth it, my mom and I ordered off the menu and were really pleased with that choice, as I often don't feel I eat enough to make buffets worth it when I'm traveling. Of course, at Disneyland, it is more about character interaction.

At Goofy's in May we saw Snow White, Goofy, Gepetto (that's who the pic was with at check in, which I found odd, thought it would be Goofy), Chip or Dale, Oh and I just went though the pics. We also saw PLUTO there!

We have done Goofy's Kitchen breakfast twice, once in 2008 and again in 2010. We saw Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale, Baloo, Snow White, Jasmine and Cinderella. We really liked that they also have an interactive "Jam session" with the characters, where the kids got to get up and dance with them and sing and bang around some plastic pots and pans. The kids LOVED it! =)
Have a great trip!

I forgot to mention that we all enjoyed the food. The adults really enjoyed the omelet station where we choose what we wanted and they made it right there for us and the kids really enjoyed the "fun" food.
Also, both of our check in photos were with Pluto.

Goofy's Kitchen is our favorite. Last visit we saw Goofy, Pluto, Minnie Mouse, Wendy, Chip, Dale, Hook and Belle.

We like Goofy's for a number of reasons - character interaction, good selection of food, Gooofy does an activity where all the kids can come up and dance/sing. We used to love the breakfast at PPH (years ago - with Merlin) since it included an interactive show so while Goofy's is not as good, it is better for us then the ones without it.

How have we missed the interactive thing at Goofy's kitchen? Do they do it at breakfast too?

I went to Goofy's this past October. I saw Goofy (duh, lol), Alice and Hatter, Pluto, Baloo, and Chip & Dale. I really wasn't impressed with it, to be honest. For all the raving on here about it I was expecting more, but was let down. Character interaction was minimal, and the food was just alright. (did really love the PBJ Pizza though!) I much preferred Minnie's, but as that is not an option for you, if I had to choose an out of park meal I would try out Mickey's before I went back to Goofy's.

For four adults, we loved Goofy's Kitchen when we went two weeks ago. Great food and atmosphere!
