which breakfast

My DH and I are planning our trip for December. DH really nevers has taken a disney vacation before only spent a day in a park once. I was thinking of attending a character breakfast. Any recommendations for two adults ages 36 and 28 without kids.

The Garden Grill in Epcot would be fun or Chef Mickey. I would go where the food is really good! If you aren't there for the kids.

I would suggest the 1900 Park Faire character breakfast at the Grand Floridian. It is more of an adult setting than most of the character meals, and the atmosphere is a little more subdued than most of the other character breakfasts. We did this one with two adults and two older teens this year, and enjoyed it. (The Fairy Godmother granted me a wish when we took a picture with her--hasn't come true yet, though).

The other one that is good for older kids and adults is Donalds Breakfast at Animal Kingdom.

Chef Mickeys is fun, but very loud and lots of younger kids, as is the Crystal Palace. (Someone mentioned Garden Grill, but I believe they only serve lunch and dinner).

Cape May does a nice breakfast buffet with characters...then there is Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom, O'Hana at the Polynesian Resort.. many choices for breakfast....

I really love the Crystal Palace-especially if you do an early seating. You get to walk up Main St before MK opens and then you are done with breakfast just as the park opens. Another option here is to do one of the latest seatings for breakfast and you may also have some choices of lunch as they start to bring that food out.

The food at 1900 Park Fare gets very good reviews too. I've never been to Cape May.

actually, if you are into 's , the breakfast at Norway is wonderful!! I went last week with my 22 year old daughter and we both thought it was absolutely the best experience....5 's, and really good food. it's served family style....scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, and delicious scalloped potatoes....you also get fresh fruit and a too-die for cinnamon bun....

all the 's come around and take photo's if you like.....and yes, I saw quite a few grown men getting their photo's taken! ... in attendence were Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Mulan, Jasmine and Mary Poppins....

Crystal Palace at MK (did this on our honeymoon aged 26) or breakfastosaurus AK (did this on first anniversary aged 27, along with parents in their 50s)

We love the Crystal Palace. The food is fresh...always lots of watermelon and strawberries, the french toast is really, really, good and have had great service both times we have been there. I second getting the early ADR...MK is so pretty first thing before the crowds...you get to look at the flowers, the castle...you really, really feel like you are in magical place all your own when you can walk down the main street and not see a whole bunch of people. Plus, the characters come around ususally 2 or 3 times with the first wave of people. And, (I told you we love CP) I think the setting is really pretty...I actually like it better than (uh, oh...here I go) Cinderella's Castle. Have a great time!

DW & I had the same dilemma (sp?) a few years ago. We went to 1900 Park Fare & had a blast! The Mad Hatter came & sat down at our table. He asked us what we were doing that day. We said Epcot...and he yawned real big...and said, "That sounds REAL exciting."

OK, I guess you had to be there.

I really enjoyed Cape May breakfast. Nice variety. Fresh food. Nice atmosphere. The Crystal Palace has really grown on me, but the noise can be a bit much.

My DH and I really enjoyed LTT dinner. We stumbled in there on our first trip together, not knowing what to expect. (Back in the days where the only place you needed a PS/ADR was the castle, and you could get one the morning of, in the park) We had a wonderful time. We go back almost every trip.

i do the liberty tree traven and garden grill with my dh we have do kids me 31 dh 34. also do boma at akl for breakfast no characters but it is great
