Which beach.....

would be best for a day trip - Huntington Beach or Laguna Beach? It will be me, DH, DS(14) and DS(8). Thanks!

I actually did both with DD(15) and DS(12&3) Both were neat to see but we preferred Laguna!!!!!!! Parked at a SMALL city parking....got pizza at BJs! Beautiful day!

Laguna is "nicer"... but to each his own. Huntington is Surf City- fun to watch, but I'd rather relax at Laguna.

I grew up in Huntington but now live closer to Laguna. I love Laguna for the atmosphere, scenery, and walkability! Huntington has bigger beaches but lacks atmoshphere since they tore down the downtown area and rebuilt.
