which beach can i swim in Nassau?

I would also like to know what the favorite beaches are in Nassau and why?
We will be there in March and my son(17)wants to go to a beach .

When we got off the ship, we just asked a taxi driver to take us to Paradise Island beach, and they dropped us off right there. No charge. I don't remember there being chairs or anything; we brought towels from the ship. The day we were there, the waves were nice, which we enjoyed since Castaway Cay is totally calm waters.

Cable Beach is great--clean, free beach chairs, and $1 per person bus ride. You can catch the bus on Bay Street (the main drag) next to the Haagen Daz. It's bus 10, and it takes 15-20 minutes to get there. Or you can grab a taxi at the pier, but it is more expensive.

You can grab the bus or take a taxi over to the Wyndham Resort on Cable Beach for the day and use their beach and pool for free. I don't think you can use their towels, tho.
