Which Attraction Would You Defend With No End?

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned "Indiana Jones" or "Space Mountain" yet. Kinda surprising. :)

Honestly, I'd be really mad if they got rid of Small World or Pirates. Those are just "too Disney" for me.
Though, the rides I like to go on the most are Indiana Jones, Star Tours and Screaming!

To answer you JosephTNielson: :sunny:

Well, actually Indiana Jones is one of my favorite rides, right up there with Pirates. But they're such different attractions and experiences, and Pirates was my first love, so I have to be most loyal to Pirates.

In other words, Indiana Jones is my ALL TIME favorite fun thrill ride at DL, but...

...Pirates is more special to me. Does that make sense?

Indiana Jones was my first thought.........then as I read and got more sentimental it is ....MATTERHORN....100%

For me it has all ready happened when they took the People mover and CoP out. I would vote Peoplemover as my #1

Here's an update of votes for favorite rides you'd defend to the end. :cool1:

(Some of you didn't vote for just one attraction, so I couldn't count an actual vote for you. Some of you named your favorite along with a loved one's favorite, so I counted both of those as separate votes.)

Pirates of the Carribean = 6 votes

It's a Small World = 3 votes

Matterhorn = 3 votes

Walt's Apartment = 1 vote

People Mover (already gone :sad1: ) = 2 votes

Alice in Wonderland = 1 vote

Well, because I know that deep down in my heart I know that they would never get rid of the big major rides that I love so deeply I am going to be the underdog on this one. I would totally throw down if they took my beloved Winnie-the-Pooh ride away. pooh:

Indiana Jones and People Mover were my next choices. I really hope the rumor about bringing back the People Mover is true. That track looks so pathetic without anything on it. Not to mention it looks all disgusting from people throwing trash out the Monorail's windows. LAZY, DISGUSTING PEOPLE! :furious:

The Teacups (strange I know). To me they are just so Disney. That was also the first ride I rode with my kids the first time we went to Disneyland. I can still see their faces as they rode that first ride. Also, I still remember when I rode it with my big sister and brother on my first trip to Disneyland back in 1977.

I know it's not a classic, but my whole family would say Indiana Jones Adventure. We go on it an average of 10 times per trip.

Pirates of course! All time favorite. I was really upset when they took the Country Bears away, I wrote emails and everything. I had a lot of really sentimental childhood memories there with my Grandma, so I was very sad to see it go. The Pooh ride is cute, but still does not even touch the Bears IMO.

HM, IaSW, the Fantasyland ones like Peter Pan, Alice, Toad, sooooo many that I could add to that list that I would be very upset to see go.

Ok, the more I read this tread the more I realize...Dont get rid of any of it!! So, I know that is not possible. Walt liked change, right?

The People Mover. Oops, that's gone.

The Golden Horseshoe! It's like a Disney Landmark ;) I love it and I hope they never get rid of it! Same goes for Space Mountain & Matterhorn. :p

LOL, I'm with you on the "don't get rid of any of it." As for change, change is good, but only in small amounts in my opinion. Kind of the less is more approach.

Totally agree. I love all of it. Even DCA. Although there are alot of "dead spaces" in both parks, but I think that is part of the charm. They dont shove info in your face quite as bad as other places.

:thumbsup2
Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room of course...

I mean Walt kept private ownership of it until he died, it was THAT important to him.

On a side note, I'm glad WDW has Carousel of Progress, but I wish they'd bring it home.
