Which "decade" area are you all staying at and why?
Any suggestions, if not the preferred area?

I haven't requested this yet, but what I was thinking was the 70s areas. I am a child of the 70s and I like the location as being close to the Hippy Dippy Pool and the main building without being preferred - I think. I also like the foosball players. This is all quite speculative right now until we get some reports back. But that is what I am thinking.

I am hesitating making this request as I am going in a very slow period and I wonder if I am not better off seeing where they place me and then requesting another area if I don't like it when I check in? (maybe I'll get preferred because its slow....? I don't know how they do this) I am also waiting for reports back from people and from Tyler once he starts working there and has some further insights.

My suggestion -- Go with the decade that you associate yourself the most with. All areas of Pop Century are fairly close together, so if you find you want to wander over to another pool, it's really not that far.

I have asked for the Jungle Book area, because my 4.5 yr old will relate best to it I think. However, I hear that is the $10 extra area and I have not booked to pay the premium. We'll see what happens.
