Which Annual Pass to purchase at Universal Studios Fl.

Hello everyone!
We are heading to Universal Studios in August for 10 nights (RPR) and need some suggestions on which annual pass to purchase. I’m thinking the basic seasons pass since if we do go back….. it will probably be at the beginning of August 2023.

My husband has the premier pass which gets us discounts on food and merch because we love to shop and eat so it works. Then our daughters and myself have the seasonal pass. Be aware of the blackout dates though on the basic seasonal pass. We are having to play around with our dates for our trip at the start of January because of the blackouts on the seasonal pass. We go twice a year. That is kind of the downer on the basic pass since we are at the mercy of the blackout dates, not always on the dates we want to go.

Thanks for your suggestions! Did you buy your passes online or purchase them when you got to the hotel/parks? I was thinking of buying them before we go.

We bought them at the resort when we checked in. We use to buy them in advance but when we went in February of this year, we still had to test to board planes. In case one of us was positive and couldn't go, we didn't want to purchase it in advance in case of an issue like that. We were supposed to go in December of 2021 and had our resort reservation and flights booked, but then we were all close contacts with a positive case and had to be in quarantine just before leaving for that trip.
