We usually stay at Pop but we are trying to go in the next couple weeks and there is no availability. Which All Star would you choose?

I like Music and Movies. Which section you want will depend on if you want preferred or standard, near pool or quiet.

We like Toy Story at Movies and Broadway at Music. We figured out the quickest walk from Broadway which saves a lot of steps (mostly the backs of the buildings and through).

I hate the layout of Music. If you get stuck in the Country Fair it's a lonnnnnng walk. Fine with me, not cool with the rest of my party. If you have a preferred room, I say go for it! I think it's the coolest looking of the 3. I like the layout of Sports, plus you're the first stop picked up when the buses are sharing. I go with sports when I don't have a preferred room.

We've thoroughly enjoyed our stays at all 3 All Stars but Sports is our favorite.

I like ASMu and ASMo. I wasn't the biggest fan of ASSp. If you don't want construction at your hotel, stay at ASMu. I love the Jazz Inn, Calypso, and Broadway buildings. I'm not wild for the other two (Country Fair and Rock Inn) but it is your preference.

I loveeee ASMo though. None of the buildings are too far of a walk except for Mighty Ducks. If you don't mind the construction I highly recommend staying here. It's smaller than the other two and really gives off that Disney feeling

Right now I'd look at Movies because some of the buildings (Toy Story first) have the newly-renovated rooms in the same style as Pop Century.

Room renovations aside, I like the Mighty Ducks section at Movies because it allows the convenience of being really close to the Music food court and buses -- it's faster to take the Music buses (coming or going) when having a room in Ducks, but you're paying for a standard room at Movies vs. a preferred room at Music.

Sports. I like the layout better than that of the Music. Plus on the rare occasion the All Stars share a bus, Sports is the first stop.

I also find the area by the main pool to be very pretty. More of a beach/surf theme than in your face sports.

We stayed at Sports in April and had an excellent experience. We were in Home Run Hotel, this location was recommended on these boards, and standard room was ultra quiet and close to lobby and food court. Also home run has a smaller but really nice pool just outside our building. Bus service was great, don’t think we ever waited more than 5minutes anywhere. There were groups there, which is par for the course, but you would hardly know it.

We are staying at the sports in March. Hopefully we will have your luck!

I hate Music. Hate the layout....as @TheDisneyNurse mentioned, it can be a loooong walk if you get stuck in the back section (Country Fair). Also, my room had bed bugs. Kinda left a bad taste in my mouth.

My fave is Sports and Movies. First choice would be Sports. Love the theme of the main pool. That "wooden" walkway/deck and the giant surfboards are so pretty! Plus its a small resort with a great layout. Furthest rooms isnt a long walk at all.

We love All Star Music! I feel like it's the prettiest of the three with it's little garden areas. Jazz is a great building to be in and I don't think that they're all preferred rooms. Country is the furthest back but seems peaceful. We enjoyed walking to all 3 hotels and eating in the different food courts and personally I liked Music's food the best.

I feel like you can't go wrong though, they are all pretty cute!

I've only stayed at Movies but I would choose it simply based on a lot of their rooms have been recently renovated~ we stayed in a renovated room in May in the Toy Story section and it was very nice and a great upgrade from the old rooms. If you choose Movies~ I'd ask for the Toy Story section because I think they've finished with that section and not sure about the others. Also be sure to request a renovated room.

Another big plus of Home Run Hotel is if you are driving to WDW as we do, the parking lot is VERY close. Huge plus when you are dragging luggage in and out!

Thank you! That is good to know. We will be making a 9 hour drive to the resort!

Here are some facts to help with your decision. (I am a little biased as I stay at Music every year) Music has 1604 rooms as Sports and Movies each have 1920 rooms. That is 316 more rooms which equates in more people at 2 persons per room. Yes, Music has family suites which can increase the number of people in a room, but there aren't that many suites and ...you get where I am going with this, right? Oh by the way, Music has family suites and Sports and Movies do not. Movies is in the middle which means you can walk back and forth between the other two and see their stuff, use thier pools, watch their "movie under the stars" if you don't like the one your resort is showing. Yes, staying in the Country section gives you a bit of a walk so request a closer building like Jazz or Calypso. And finally, the staff at Music is wonderful. That is the primary reason we have returned every year since 2009. 36 more days and I get to make next years reservations.

I stayed in Music in January and disliked it. We were in Broadway and I've never stayed at a hotel that was louder than Music. We had to call security numerous times during our stay because of 20+ children screaming and running until 3 am every night. Security did nothing but tell them to go back inside where they would promptly come back out when they left. While a hotel can not be responsible for someone elses children, how they handle it is their responsibility. We met other couples who had also called and ended up being moved. I stayed at Movies this previously week and we had a great time. The pool was not overly crowded and had games throughout the day. We stayed in the Mighty ducks section and caught the music buses easily and slept peacefully every night. I would definitely go movies.

We have stayed at Sports for the past 3 trips I think? Surf's Up, Touchdown, and Home Run....we like it....

we are staying at Pop this next stay cuz my roomie wanted to experience a different hotel, and it was like $13 more or so during our stay....

They are all very similar. I've stayed at Music several times and it's been very nice. Since Music is in the middle of the three, you could really take any All Star bus back from the parks if you didn't want to wait too long for the Music bus.
