Which albums do you use??

I'm curious about these Colorbok books---what is the cost of a 12x12 album and what other colors do they come in?

Sorry to be late replying!

I usually buy the Perfect Scrapbooks at any of the LSSes around here (I'm in metro Detroit). I also saw them in both 8x8 and 12x12 at JoAnn Etc yesterday!

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! I was really stressing because I bought these things to make an album for my cousin and I really wanted a 8 by 8 album and the Perfect Scrapbooks come in that size. I even ordered a 12 by 12 for me to see if I like them. Thanks for the links. The scrapbook store was sold out but the cropaholics had them in stock!

Just as a warning- The Colorbok Perfect Scrapbooks do NOT hold 70 pages as the wrapper says. I used one for my last WDW/US?IOA trip and put post extenders in. It's not sturdy enough for that many. So if you need an album that holds that many-Keep looking! If you are only do 20-40 pages then give one of their albums a try.

The forever Yours albums hold a ton of pages I will have to count how many I know I have many many pages in my DD album and it seems very sturdy.

A quick question: when you say "pages" do you mean page protectors or actual number of pages (i.e. 2 pages per protector)?

EDITED TO ADD: Did you use one of the original "paper padded" cover albums or one of the newer fabric-covered ones? TIA!

The wrapper said it would hold "70 pages for a total of 140 scrapped pages" or something to that effect. So 2 pages for each of the 70 protectors is what I thought they meant. It doesn't come with that many of course. You're just supposed to take their word for it. Take MY word for it- It doesn't hold that many.

Um, uh, I don't know. It was cloth covered and not padded at all. Does that make sense?

Okay, I'm a little disappointed THE PERFECT SCRAPBOOK doesn't hold a lot of pages.

Did you get a chance to count the pages, yet for the Forever Yours albums? Also, do you buy your albums online? If so, where?

I swear I think, I am going to just have to bite the bullet and buy the CM albums. This is very frustrating..... SIGH...

Oops sorry this day has been crazy I counted and currently I have 32pages in it so a total of 64 scrapped pages. I am sure I can easily put another 40 plus pages. The thing that is nice about the FY albums you add this black accordinan thing to the edge so the album is alway flat and not angled if that makes sense.

OK, thanks bananiem! The cloth covers are the redesigned ones.

Thinking about it, for me, I guess I'm not worried about the albums not holding 70 pages -- the most pages I ever put into my CM books was 45 (so 90 scrapped pages), and those particular albums are *huge* and awkward. I have a bunch of pages in my Perfect Scrapbooks and they seem to be okay.
