Which AKL pool is best for adults

We are taking an adult only trip for some relaxation at the end of the month and I was wondering if the Jambo or Kidani pool is better for adults.

We spent 5 nights in a Kidani Grand Villa last October and spent 3-4 hours a day at the Kidani pool and loved it. There are plenty of chairs away from the pool (and kdis) and the slide is great for kids of all ages.

There will be a ton of kids at both pools so I don't know that one is better than the other. I agree with knocker that Kidani has a pretty good sitting area away from the pool that may provide a little less distraction. But rest assured they will both have a lot of kids and activities (hoola hoop contests, etc).

I prefer Jambo's pool area, especially because the 2 whirlpools/spas are more secluded and even could be in shade.

DH and I are going alone this October. First stay at AKV - sounds like we'll just have to try both!

We found the Kidani pool much more crowded then Jambo when we were there last year. I cannot imagine how much more crowed it will be when Kidani is fully declared.

I would say Jambo. Kidani is more "fun," with activities and stuff, but Jambo seems "bigger" - but that may just be a feeling based on the number of people.

DH and I stayed at Jambo in Oct. and love the pool area. There are alot of chairs and tables. Alot of quiet places. We just came back from a stay at Jambo in May with our kids (ages 22 and 25) and we still loved Jambo's pool better. We drove over to Kidani's pool and it was so busy, we left. Kid's games going on and the pool is much smaller. For me I would go with Jambo.

We stayed at Kidani last June and at Jambo the previous August. We all (2 adults, 2 teens, 10yo) prefer the Kidani pool area to the Jambo pool---but we're slide people, not hot tub people We tend to hit the pool in the late afternoon and at those times, Kidani was less crowded than when we were at Jambo. I also like the Kidani pool background music

I like the Kidani pool better...I think it is a bit more quiet....likely in fact to it not being as big as Jambo. The foliage is not all grown in like at Jambo but I think I prefer the overall vibe at Kidani if you are looking for quiet/relaxation...Jambo has the restaurant areas close to the pool so I think that creates more traffic too.
