Which Airport do you use to fly to DL?

SNA is closer, but only by a couple of miles! I believe it's 17 miles from SNA to Anaheim, and 19 miles from LGB to Anaheim.

i had posted on another thread, no response, thought i'd try here since it relates to OPs question as airports to DL

I had to pick LAX due to AirTran reward miles (nasty connecting flight lol)

just wondering for those who have flown out of it, how long to allow travel wise to reach it for a 3:00 p.m. flight midweek from DL hotel? i typically like to be @ airport a full 2 hours prior.

any shuttle/bus recommendations?

we are starting to plan out first ever trip to CA for my fiance and I. We are staying on site using our DVC club pts heres the scenerio were in, LAX seems like to only airport offering a straight shot from JFK, would you say its better go non stop to LAX or have a lay over for an hour or so and fly into LGB (LONGBEACH) OR SNA (JOHN WAYNE)? PS i would rather sit in an airport for a lay over than traffic any day of the week. PLEASE any advice would be greatly apreciated!!!!

JetBlue flys direct from JFK to Long Beach, check them out. Otherwise, I would not fly in LAX and then fly to LB or SNA. With an hour layover, you could already be in Anaheim by the time you board your flight. Flying into LAX is not that bad.

We flew into Orange County. It was such a quick ride to HoJo - I'd say under 20 minutes. I remember thinking, we're here already? The return trip took longer due to traffic on the freeway (it was a Monday morning about 9:30AM). But I'm still it was a LOT better than the ride to LAX would have been!
