Delta or American? Whos planes are more comfortable? We are flying the red eye so I would prefer seats that we can be somewhat comfortable to get some sleep. Deltas planes are bigger. Does that mean more leg room? Ive already passed up fantastic airfare because I waited to long to book. Were flying from seattle on either June 26th or 27th. mimimom :wave2:

I fly on both airlines and they're the same in comfort level in coach. Just because the plane is bigger doesn't mean more leg room. In fact American used to have "More Room Throughout Coach" in its planes, so a smaller plane could have substantially more legroom than a larger plane on another airline. Unfortunately, MRTC is being removed from all of American's planes by June. The only advantage you might have on Delta would be that since the 767 is a two aisle plane, the seats are 2-3-2, so at most you have to climb over one person (or one person has to climb over you) to get to an aisle. All of AA's planes out of Seattle are one aisle planes (737, MD80, 757), with seating either 3-3 or 3-2, so if you are in a window you'd have to climb over 2 seats to get to the aisle.
