We've had great experiences with Southwest. They have a great policy for cancellation, too. Other airlines want to charge you $150 to change your dates! Southwest doesnt' charge anything. Then, if the fares go down, you get credit back. Love them!! Plus 2 free checked bags per person!

Alaska Airlines does.

Our flights went down by $18 each last year. I called Alaska and requested a credit. The representitive stated that their credit certificates are in $25 increments and since I purchased 3 tickets I would be getting 3-$25 certificates.

I was quite happy, and very impressed with Alaska.

sorry to jump in, but does anyone know if american does? i just found the same flights i'm going to be on in march for about $100 less per person. guess booking early doesn't always help

I don't believe American gives a credit. All I can remember them offering was to be able to hold a selection on line for 24 hours no fee required, that may be long gone now tho.

I haven't used them myself yet, but I read in a magazine somewhere that if you enter the flight you already bought into yapta.com, they'll track it for you and let you know if the cost falls, so you can apply for your voucher/credit. I visited the site yesterday and I'm pretty sure they have a full list somewhere of what airlines credit for what...

You are correct about Yapta. I use them whenever I am looking for flights or have booked a flight.

The notify me of any price changes to my selected flights and they inform you of how to get your credit if any is due.

They are a terrific tool. I have them tracking my December flights right now, and they are also keeping me posted on the August flights that I have already booked.
