Which airline from LAX to HNL?

We are going to disneyland for a few days then going to aulani. What airline do you recommend from lax to HNL? We were looking at Hawaiian airlines instead of delta, any big difference?

Driving doesn't work for everyone, but Alaska air has a direct flight San Diego to Hnl. They have a fare sale going on. Just another option...
