Which ADR's will require credit card?

And do they bill the full price immediately or just keep your credit card # in case you don't show?

I've gathered that CRT bills immediately when you make you reservation. What about the candlelight processional package? Are there other restaurants that are going to charge immediately?

The ones I booked that required a CC was CRT & Akershus. I am on the dining plan so I was not charged, but I had to have a CC to guarantee it. Not sure about the Candlelight Processional.

What happens if you've prepaid for dinner at CRT and then the park is closed to capacity and you can't get in? We'll be in Disney for a business conference for dh so I can be in the park all day, but I can't know if he'll be able to get in til that day. We'll be there the week before Easter so I'm assuming MK could close to capacity. Any thoughts about the best possible day to avoid MK closing?

It's my understanding that if the park is closed for capacity they will not let you in even if you have an ADR to eat there. I don't know the likelihood that MK will close for capacity in the week before Easter. If it concerns you, you should probably not make a CRT ADR on a day when he can't get to the park early with you.

Thank You! We're going as a big group and I'm going to make all the reservations so I was little worried about the thousands of $$$ I could be racking up on my credit card if I had to pay for more than CRT in advance! So Ohanas doesn't require a CC like California Grill?

What is the cancellation policy on the ones that require a credit card? Is it 48 hours ahead of time or does it vary?

Now I just have to get a CRT reservation...

The cancellation policies vary by restaurant.

'Ohana does not have a credit card guarantee. Being an all you can eat restaurant, I don't think they had the problem California Grill had, where guests would book a reservation just to watch the fireworks, then leave without sitting down and ordering anything. At a restaurant like 'Ohana everybody gets billed for the full meal.

Now I'm concerned. I booked Cali Grill online yesterday around 3:30am and it never asked for a credit card number. I have the confirmation numbers and when I go to look it up---it comes up as a valid reservation. Think I need to call to add a cc #??

That's what I thought and had my credit card ready when booking. Then, they never asked---so I thought maybe I was wrong. Here's what my confirmation says (and I did retrieve it on WDW's site to confirm it was a valid ressie):
