Which ADR should I cancel?

In a panic I made 2 reservations this morning for the same place hoping the experts here could tell me which option is better. I want to see Fantasmic but also want to eat at Sci Fi. Fantasmic is at 6:30 so should I keep my 4:30 and eat before or my 7:30 and eat after? 7 is typically the time we eat dinner so 4:30 seems too early but with the park closing at 8 I'm worried about a 7:30 ADR. I mean, I know the buses still run but is that rude to eat at 7:30? I always feel bad showing up somewhere at quittin' time.

Will you have enough time to see fantasmic at 6:30 and then get to your adr by 7:30? How long does fantasmic last? and it probably takes a while for all those people to get out of the stadium. As far as going to a 7:30 adr, I would not worry about it being late, if disney gave you that time the restaurant will be open and ready for your business. Good luck with your decision. I would not personally want to eat at 4:30 either. Linda

I think I would probably stick with the 430 - only b/c I would be afraid of not making it on time to the 730. If you're not concerned about that, then as the pp said, I wouldn't worry about eating so close to closing time. The ADR wouldn't have been available if that was a concern.

Fantasmic is 25 min long. This gives you 35 min to get to your ADR. I think you should be fine with that. If they didn't want to serve you at 7:30 then they shouldn't offer reservations.

I think 35 minutes to get out of the stadium and through to the other side of the park is enough time. We probably won't be there the suggested 20 minutes before our ADR bbbuuuttt that's okay for just this one ADR

I'd go with the 7:30. You'll have plenty of time to get there. My advice would be to try to sit toward the back of a section, preferably in the center or just to the right of center, so you can get out a bit quicker. This may not be possible as they often direct you to seating, but if you can do it I would.

I agree with the 7:30...when they say "park closes" at 8 PM, that doesn't really mean the park closes...you will have plently of time to eat your meal and catch a bus back to the resort.

Can I ask what time and date you have the 4:30 Fantasmic? If you haven't already cancelled it? I am interested in one....
