Hi Everyone,

Just wondering which 3 resturants you would choose for dinner and why. I'm planning a trip WDW in April and need info about resturants.

Thanks,
Daisylover :rotfl:

Are you traveling with children or adults only? Are you going to be on dining plan?

Without knowing if you have kids, I will just tell you our family's favorites -

Jiko - best food I have had on property ... the Mac&Cheese Filet was awesome

Le Cellier - love the feel of the wine cellar atmosphere (even though I admit it is a bit cramped depending on where your table is) ... we all love the cheddar cheese soup and the mushroom risotto. It is the only must do every trip for us

The Wave - food was great & a little different than the 'standard' food that other restaurants can fall into.

If you are traveling with kids or adults only Ohana is great. We also liked Crystal Palace for dinner (a little loud and crazy but hey its Disney!!). We are also going in April and thinking about trying Tutto Italia or Yak N Yeti. I have read such great reviews on both these places and my family loves chinese and italian food.

Have a great trip!

I would say

1. Boma, its the best meal in WDW

2. I need to have at least one dinner at World Showcase. I recommend San Angel Inn or Chefs de France

3. Do a character breakfast. I would say 'ohana is the best. 'ohana would be a good choice for a dinner as well

Artist Point. This is one of the best places I've ever eaten, anywhere. The mushroom soup, unreal. Great food.

I haven't eaten in every place.....or even half...lol.....but everything lese break down into real good, with a few a few poor. (I will never eat atht eh50's cafe...yuck)

My 3:

1. Ohana dinner in the Polynesian - best overall food/atmosphere combo. You really feel like you are on vacation here! The sides and dessert are absolutely delicious, the meats are hit or miss...very tasty but sometimes can be a tad dry. A must-do for us.

2. Hollywood Brown Derby dinner in DHS - best meal. Every single thing about our meal here was top-notch, from DH's steak to my Ahi-Tuna to the kids meals. Great service as well!

3. Crystal Palace dinner in MK - best food quality at a character dinner buffet. Almost everything here was really, really delicious, whereas most other dinner buffets were so-so, in my opinion. We are not the hugest Pooh fans, but the meal alone was worth it!

1) BlueZoo - Great selection of fish. I eat here every trip and I am not a fan of Todd English. (this is not on the DDP)
2) Kona Cafe - Nice selection of food. Great Creme Brulee and great drinks. Another place I always eat at.
3) Biergarten - Decent buffet with a fun show. This is the only buffet I will eat at in Disney. I love German food and we have no German restaurants in Boston anymore, so I am biased. Not for everyone as you do have to sit with other people, just like in Germany.

If money was not an issue
1)Victoria and Albert's
2)California Grill
3)Flying Fish / Ohana

My three favorite are Ohana, Chefs De France, and the Plaza Restaurant.

'Ohana
Le Cellier
California Grill

Where is the wave?

It is so hard to pick just 3, but these would be my choices...

With Older Children or Without Children...
  • Wolfgang Puck Cafe
  • Tutto Italia
  • Sanaa

With Young Children...
  • Chef Mickey's (dinner)
  • An EPCOT World Showcase restaurant whose cuisine you've never tried (Marakesh, the Biergarten or Tepan Edo would be my favorites)
  • 1900 Park Fare or Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House (breakfast)

Kona: great food, great sevice, and FANTASTIC coffee. :surfweb:

Il Mulino: great service and selection, and some of the best Italian. :thumbsup2

Beaches and Cream: If this place became a chain, and stuck to its all fresh made food, it would be a fortune 500 best business. :goodvibes

Our three -- children or no children:

LeCellier

Fulton's (but not on dining plan)

Plaza (change of pace from all the heavy meals we eat all week)

The last 2 times my family has gone to WDW we had to eat at:

Le Cellier (eating there 2 times on our upcoming trip)
Narcosses (lobster is GREAT!)
We also Like the 50's Prime time! :)

Sorry, I guess I should have been a little more specific. This trip is for 2 adults and we will be on the dining plan. Thanks to everyone who contributed information, I really appreciate it.

We just went a few weeks ago and Raglan Road was one of our favorites from that trip. It was so good we cancelled our Boma (DH said he had enought buffets!) reservations and went back two nights later to eat again. We had 7 in our party and we all got something different both nights and no one had a bad meal. The bread pudding for dessert is to die for! Our top three would be
1. Raglan Road
2. Le Cellier
3. O'hana's or Biergarten

Have fun planning!
