I am planning on staying at Beach Club Villas for 2 nights during our stay and am having trouble deciding when during the holiday we should go - its a surprise for DH so cant talk about it with him :love::confused3

We are booked from Sat 27 Aug to Sat 10 Sept at the Rosen Inn @ Pointe Orlando on I-Drive.

My initial thoughts are that if we stay early on we wont want to go back to our I-Drive hotel :rotfl: , so was thinking about maybe towards the end of the second week.

Question is do we pack up and take everything with us to BCV for 2 days and spend our last day in the BCV area after check out OR stay tues/wed and then have the thurs/fri back on I-Drive?

Its all I have thought about today and am still no nearer making a decision - which is most unlike me :rotfl2: :rolleyes1

Are you renting a car?

I not then definitely have your last two nights at BC as not only will you end on a high. You'll get a free ride to the airport!

We have a car booked and are going from Sanford, so no DME for us - but I agree a stay at the end would be the perfect finish to our holiday!

Stay for the last 2 nights, so even when your trip is coming to and end you know that the best was saved for last! :)

We've done it every which way and I would suggest doing it in the middle of your stay, just packing an overnight bag. When you have to pack everything up a couple of nights before flying home, it just seems like the holiday is all over and, rather than relaxing and enjoying those two days knowing that you still have a week left, you'll spend them with that horrible sinking feeling. You probably won't be able to get your room until around 4pm (although obviously you can check in earlier), then you'll only have one full day onsite before having to think about packing up for the airport. If you do it in the middle of your stay, you'll have two full days and can return to your I-Drive hotel at your leisure.

That has thrown a right spanner in the works as I had just about decided on the last 2 days!
I might stick my original plan - like sticking with the first answer in an exam :rotfl: - and stay the tuesday and wednesday, then we only have 2 nights left before we come home.

Its soo difficult trying to plan it as a surprise!

Never done it with resort so only thing I can relate it to is a cruise, its the best few days of the hoiday & we have to decide where in the holiday to do it. We find best for us is near the end but still prefer a few days after, I wouldn't want it to be the last thing we did before leaving for the airport. Just knowing I was leaving the ship to goto the airport would take the edge off the cruise.

I agree with Deb. ::yes::

Thanks guys :thumbsup2

I think that has just sealed it - we will stay at BCV for the Tues and Wed and back to I-Drive for the last 2 nights :cheer2::cheer2:

Going to sort it out NOW so that its all done!
