Which 2 bedroom should I choose?

I'm try to decided on which resort to stay at next. I really want a 2 bedroom with 2 queens. We stayed at Boardwalk last June and although we loved it, our favorite resort by far, the fold-out couches were not the most comfy. Does anybody know which resorts I stand the best chance at. Can I request 2 queens and do you think I'd get them? :flower:

The two-bedroom units at OKW come with two queen beds in the second bedroom.

If you get a "dedicated" 2 bedroom, not a lock-off, it should have 2 queens in the 2nd bedroom. I don't think BWV has any dedicated 2 bedrooms, but BCV does. Also, as previously stated ALL OKW 2 bedrooms have 2 queens, as the studios there have 2 queens.

VWL has dedicated 2 bedrooms and they have 2 queens in the 2nd bedroom.
That's what I've been told about the bedding. We haven't stayed in one yet.

Some of the dedicated 2 bedroom units at the BCV hve one queen and a queen sleep sofa in the second bedroom. IIRC, those with two queens in the second bedroom are a separate booking category. However, some have reported getting the sleep sofa even when they booked the "two queens" category - probably due to "room ready" assignment policy. There aren't very many 2Q 2 bedroom units at the BCV, and they are very popular.

All of the dedicated 2 bedroom units at SSR, VWL and OKW have two queens in the second bedroom. Even the lockoff 2 bedrooms at OKW have the two queen configuration.

Best wishes -

Interesting that OKW as percieved as being too far "off the beaten path". In reality, if you look at an arial view, OKW is just as close to the front entrance of Epcot as BWV is. The difference is that there is a roadway and the parking lot between. Some of us don't think walking to a park and having to walk all the way through the park to get to the entrance to necessarily be a good thing.

 I agree, the perception of OKW being "far away" isn't true. I love OKW, and haven't stayed at another DVC resort since 1992, though we do occasionally book a night at POP if we arrive earlier than expected.

I believe the 2 queen dedicateds are a guarentee (not all dedicateds at BCV have two queens), but they will book faster than the other 2 bedrooms. My understanding is its difficult to get them at BCVs if you don't own there.

Thanks for correcting my cliche, I honestly thought it was "Beat and Path", "beaten path" sure does make more sense. I have stayed at BWV, BCV, and OKW; even though we loved it. we also love the convenience of being able to walk to Epcot, MGM and the kids really enjoyed the Boardwalk. Having said all that, thanks for the info. on dedicated 2 bedrooms, I will remember to request one and then cross my fingers that we get one. I'm leaning toward VWL. :flower:
