Whew- that was close!

I posted earlier that I booked my May trip today. For some reason, I had a feeling that I should check the reservation online and am I glad I did! Instead of the 1 night deposit I thought I paid with my CC, they had charged the WHOLE thing! I was prepared to spend the almost $200 today, but not $1,500! I just called to fix it- I hope no damage was done (i.e. a charge, then a credit, then a new charge). That was scary!

The same happened to me with my stay at POR. I didn't notice it until I saw that they had charged me the whole amount at once. I had a great FL resident deal of $440 for 5 nights so I left it alone. I didn't want to mess that up. If it had been a bigger amount it could have been a problem.

From now on I'll make sure that they just charge me a deposit and not the whole amount at once.
