I sat down for 5 hours last night and put together 24 pages for an 8x8 gift album. That is the most I have ever scrapped (haven't been doing it that long) at once. I am not totally happy with my work - mainly because I am scrapping for someone else and not totally sure if they'll like my style. It's a vacation album from a trip our families took together last month - so I am leaving lots of room for their own journaling. I just did pages for the photos that I took, and will leave them more page protectors to add their own... but she is not a scrapper (get this though - the hubby is thinking about taking up scrapping!).

Anyway, I just have to finish up some titles and vellum on the computer and I'll be done!

Now I have to get started on OURS!

WAY TO GO JOY!
Doesn't it fel great to GET IT DONE!
most of my albums are ongoing so I LOVE when I can actually finish a project!

I love doing gift albums because they are so much quicker to finish and then you can pat yourself on the back! Yay!

I am sure your friend will love your style, or at least appreciate the effort that went into making it.

I love the 8x8 size for gift albums.
SOunds like a perfect gift I am sure they will cherish for years!
I love the fact the husband may get into scrapping. We use to have a guy on this board but I don't know where he went. His name was scott. He did the neatest pages!
