Where's the worse place you've gotten sunburn

My tata's in Jamaica on my honeymoon. SO NOT FUN. Learned my lesson to never do that again after having many rum drinks.

We were snorkeling in Maui and forgot that even though your body's in the water, your back's sticking out and we cooked. It made the flight home really, really rough. I also hate the scalp-burn-peel action. We've been lucky with our WDW trips with minimal color.

Worst ever was on Castaway Cay on our honeymoon. Silly me - I turned down my husband's offer to "reapply" the suntan lotion on my back. You know the burn is bad when I am turning down pictures with Mickey in his tropical attire. It was awful - I missed dinner on the last night on our cruise because I couldn't wear a bra - just awful :sad2:

ok...umm..yah....nevermind....

I got sun poisoning once on the back of my neck. Not only did it hurt but it was gross to look at - or so I was told, since I couldn't see it. It's my friend's son who noticed it and he put it that way : "Ewww, NO SKIN!"

OK.. worst sunburn ever.....

Well, in my much younger days, I had this white bikini that was crochet (spelling) .... Well, I usually tan well, but it was the first outing at the beach for the summer and I applied sunscreen but forgot about those parts of my body that have NEVER seen sun and my behind was exposed through the holes in the fabric of my suit which made for a very interesting pattern of red dots on my lilly white bottom. ;) Now imagine how it looked when it began to peel.... :rotfl2:

:confused3 On my shoulders in Cancun. Sitting on the plane coming back home I blisterd, didnt realize, then carried by travel bag through the airport. I went to get in the car and realized my shoulders were stuck to my shirt and I was tearing up with pain. I managed to pop all the blisters walking in the airport with the strap of my bag and they coated my shirt, thus incorporating my shirt into the wound:scared1: . We had to go home and I had to sit in the shower to slowly peel my shirt off. Oh boy I will never do that again. Oh did I mention I am as pale as a ghost and burn like a lobster in a millisecond.

Man, this sounds like what happened to me. I'm also very pale and burn within minutes of being outside. Well, one summer I went to York Beach, Maine (I'm originally from central Mass) and well...I was with a friend and didn't have my parents reminding me to put on sunblock. We were outside from sun-up to sun-down and I didn't have one slather of sunblock...it was the first day of June...and well, let's just say that I have to get checked every year by the dermatologist because I went through about 16 layers of skin. Big green blisters...ugggh...I still shudder to think about it.

It was terrible when I went back to school that Monday...and someone didn't realize I was as burned as I was and slapped me on the back hello ---- I've never screamed as loud or as long.

Gah! Thanks for bringing up THAT memory!

Don't feel weird anyone... I haven't worn one in years and certainly won't be wearing one on the cruise...;)

I had the bright idea to visit my then boyfriend in Florida during a 4 day Easter weekend. Well, let me just say an overcast Easter weekend. To make a long story short, we went to the beach Sunday and I was broiled. This was the first and last time I will put even a toe in the Atlantic. Top it off, I was a stupid lovesick girl who drove 15 hours by herself. So that same ding dong had to drive her very sick self home.

My legs looked like a raw steak. I had to wear shorts to work for the next 2weeks and the temp at home was in the 50's or 60's. Yeah, that relationship was doomed.

I had a bad sunburn on the very top of my feet on a RCL cruise back in 2003. Very hard to wear cute strappy heels with sunburnt, swollen feet. :sad2:

Venice Beach.

I was in LA to do a 6 week studycourse at UCLA and after the first day of tests the second day we were free to go and do whatever we wanted.
So i went wit a bunch of guys to Venice Beach and we didn't have sunlotion at all....
Before this i was burned once before on my shoulder.
In the afternoon i felt already my feet burning but still didn't do anything about it.
When we returned at the dorm my feet were killing me.
It hurted so much i cried a bit.
When i put off my socks they were sticking to my feet and the skin was comming up for like 1 inch and i had to pull the sock out of my skin......

** Sorry i tried to get the photo's in a much smaller size but i resized them in photobucket and still it appears here so big.....

Funny part: I used to be a lifeguard and I got so sunburned one year that people referred to me as "Lobster Claws" :lmao:

Serious Part: My Mom just had Skin Cancer removed from her arm and it was very serious. It grew in only six months from nothing to a large melanoma.

Everybody, please use sunscreen. Especially at Disney, always make sure that you wear sunscreen each day you are there. :thumbsup2

NOW, Continue as you were........ :rotfl:

Everywhere at Blizzard beach one year...the partin of my hair on top got burnt there, my arms, legs, back, shoulders, face, butt (because my swimmin costume didnt cover it all) i couldnt even wear underwear how bad i was burnt ouch just thinkin about it :scared:

I am olive-skinned and tan very well, golden usually, but as I get older I have to get a little burn before I turn tan. The worst I had I actually got from a tanning bed trying to get color before going on vacation. My stomach and breasts were bright red and hurt so bad. Fortunately, the vacation was still a few weeks away and I had time to heal before getting into the real sun.

Tops of my feet. It hurt so badly to wear any kind of shoes, or walk for that matter.

Tops of my shoulders. That hurt when I got the backpack thown on my back.

Oh, and Cornwall

Parting on my hairline and tops of my feet/toes

OUCH!!
