To help you visualize things, click here for a map of the Grand Floridian. When you view that map, you’ll see “Franck’s Studio” and “Disney’s Fairy Tale Wedding Pavilion” marked towards the bottom of it. And if you click here, you’ll see an aerial view of the Grand Floridian (courtesy of Google Earth). Towards the bottom of that photo, you’ll see the island on which the Wedding Pavilion sits (you can also make out Franck’s Bridal Studio and the parking lot for the Wedding Pavilion complex).

Those links are really good I haven't seen them before. Do you know if there is a long walk from the pavillion to the place where they do the reception?

I only walked it once and that was after my rehearsal. I ~believe~ the walk to the resort took approximately 5 minutes (give or take a minute or two). It wasn't a long walk but I wasn’t in a wedding gown or wedding shoes either.

Before you consider asking your guests to walk from the Wedding Pavilion to the Grand Floridian, please take into consideration your guests’ ages & physical limitations. Also take into consideration the weather (heat, cold, rain, wind, etc.). Consider those things carefully and then plan accordingly.
