Where's the HHI Visitors Center?

We're planning our June trip to HHI and I've noticed the Welcome Center mentioned a few times on this board. I'm figuring it must be a good resource for discounts, coupons etc like the one is in Kissimmee.

Can someone let me know where the Center is? Is it worth the stop?

There is a Welcome Center on the right side of the highway about a mile or so before you get to the resort. I have never stopped there myself, so I can't vouch for any discounts that may be available there. The resort will give you a stack of discount booklets at check in and more are available at displays in front of most merchant locations around the island.

We usually do stop there. They have a small museum, maps and a lot of those booklets and coupons including the one that has all the menus in it. If you've never been, I'd highly recommend it. It's on the right just after you arrive on the island and before the toll road splits off, maybe a mile or two at most after you clear the bridge. It shares a parking lot with one of the Crazy Crab restaurant locations, many say the better one by far by I can't comment as I haven't eaten there.

BTW, it's an official welcome center not one of those places trying to rope you in like you see going towards Disney.
