Where's the grapefruit cake?

I know they have the grapefruit cake at Hollywood Brown Derby but I could swear that someone said that you could get it next door at the bakery. Does anyone know if this is true? If not could I go into the lounge and get it to go?

I don't know if you can get it to go or not, but it is available at the lounge. Disney restaurants, for the most part, just aren't set up to do to-go orders.

I have the recipe on a cool Derby shaped card they gave me if you want. I cant figure out how to post a pic. For some reason it says file too big

It was not on the Starring Rolls menu, but sometimes a castmember could go over to the HBD and get it if it wasn't too busy. I don't know if they still do this.

It can be ordered at the HBD lounge and once it is served, you can probably ask for a to go container. Mst TS restaurants do not have plastic forks.

The HBD Grapefruit Cake recipe is available online and in several Disney cookbooks. Here on the disboards there is a Creative Community board further down with a Cooking subforum with many park recipes. Allears also has an extensive recipe section.
