Where's the free beach?

Could anyone who's been to Paradise island tell me where the free beach is? We'll be going to the aquarium, but we're not booking a room. Thanks for your help!! Cathie

We were on the Nov 6 - 9 Wonder cruise and it was great. We went to Paradise Island by Taxi. (about $5 per person, but negotiate with the driver to get it cheaper). We had 10 of us and it was $30 to get to the beach. Just tell the driver you want to go to the public beach right next to the Sheraton Grand. There will be a lot of Bahamians offering you their services (drinks, chairs, hairbraiding, t-shirts, etc). You can walk down the beach, passed the Sheraton Grand and see Atlantis. It is a much cheaper way to spend the day and the water is great.

Yes, it is near by to Atlantis. You can go to the beach, which is right next to the Sheraton Grand, and the Sheraton Grand is right next to Atlantis. So, you can take a walk along the beach, pass the Sheraton and you are on the Atlantis beach and you can go in from there. Have a great trip
