Where's the Boardwalk?

Have started to go through boxes of old photos and dreading it already. LOL Found this one interesting. We were staying at the Dolphin at the time.They used to have a tram to take you to Epcot. The green wall was up for quite a while.Never thought they were ever going to build it.

I remember during one of my early trips to WDW with my son and my then room mate we saw the beginnings of the construction of the Boardwalk. We had heard about the themeing and I remember my comments on "How tacky". Well, now the Boardwalk is my very favorite resort and partly responsible for my complete Disney addiction.

Me again....I just looked at the print again and read your post, I think we may have been on the tram you are talking about . I do remember we were on some kind of transport and the monorail would not have had the view of the construction. Thanks for a trip down memory lane.

On our BC stay in January 1995, I remember renting the Water Mice and cruising the canal to MGM and on the lake watching the workers. Then when I saw it again 2 years later, I was amazed at the size of the place.

Very cool! We are DVC members and BOardwalk is oour home resort. Hard to believe it was'nt always there.
