Where's the best place to watch Wishes?

From what I've read, it's a lot bigger than the old fireworks, so do all the usual places around Main St. up to the castle work for viewing Wishes? Where's the best place to sit.

Thanks,

We watched it twice during our trip two weeks ago. The first time we were right in front of Casey's, and the second time we were on the curb right in front of the castle. The second time my BF laid down on the ground (everyone else was too) and videotaped it. Some of the fireworks were hidden behind the castle because we were too close. It's kind of a give and take. If you are videotaping, it's better to be a little further back, but then you may have people standing or walking in front of you. Where we were the second time, we didn't have anything in front of us, but you can't see all the fireworks. If you're not going to videotape I would suggest being as close as possible. We got our spot right in front of the castle, facing it, and we stayed there for Spectro and Wishes and taped both. It was great to have the castle in the back of the Spectro shots too :) Have a great time!!

Just saw it last Thurs. TINK FLEW!! We got there at the last minute & watched on Main Street between Casey's & Plaza Ice Cream. It was great! Got to see everything. A bit far back, but still viewable. I videotaped the whole thing. Next time I may try to go a bit closer & on the Tomorrowland side so I can see Tink much closer up! It was the highlight of our trip!

You wouldn't by any chance want to share that video of Spectromagic and Wishes, would you? ;) :hyper:

Is there a way I can do that? Do you mean make a copy and mail it? It's a mini dv tape so I would have to get it transferred onto a DVD or VHS and there is also other stuff on the tape. Let me know if that's what you meant :)

We've seen it twice (once with Tink, once without) and sat/stood on the bridge from Tomorrowland and the castle/hub. In August the breeze was blowing the fireworks to the right of the castle, so they seemed to be right in front of us! And Tink went almost right over our heads!

Does anyone know if you can see the show from outside the park - how about at the CR?

Thanks.

Yes, you can see it from the CR, but the best place is on Main Street near Casey's. My daughter was on the College Program last year and that is where she insisted that we watch it. The fireworks are so choreographed to the Castle. They shoot back and forth over it. The Castle is part of the show -- it even looks like Mickey's Hat in the Sorcerers' Apprentice at one point. I feel that you miss so much if you try to see Wishes from any other place.

But, definitely be forewarned -- it will be very, very crowded in that location -- but still worth it!

The best spot I ever had was on the walkway from the TIP Board to Crystal Palace. We were right up at the railing, so no one was in front of us (it goes downhill into a pond there).

We always watch it from the tables/chairs at the Plaza Pavillion. Tink lands right on the roof and we have chairs and a table to have our drinks/snacks on. The down side is that you have to get there really early to get a goos spot. That's why we bring dinner with us

That's okay; I thought you had them on your computer as two files. Spectromagic was pretty neat. Do they have a dinner package or preferred seating with Wishes like they do with the other shows?

After years of "staking" out our spot my dd suggested we watch it from the rose garden. We had fantastic viewing and that was only about 20 minutes before the show began. Main Street was mobbed and we had a wonderful view of the castle with only a few people around us.
