Where's the best breakfast on Disney Magic?

I'm a big breakfast person, and especially enjoy a leisurely breakfast on vacation. I've read a lot of reports commenting on how busy and crowded Topsider's is. Are we better off eating at one of the sit-down restaurants? Are there other options we should consider? My husband loves french toast and waffles on vacation, and I doubt you can get these through room service.

Also, if I want to grab a quick coffee before breakfast, then go back to the cabin with it, is there somewhere I can get this?

The best breakfast is the Palo brunch.

I found the menu at Lumiere's lacking, but it is more leisurely than Topsiders.

We found Topsider's relaxing by going through the buffet and then finding a spot somewhere quiet on the Top Deck to enjoy our breakfast.

A quick coffee can be found via room service (they will bring it when you request). You can also go to Deck 9 aft to the drink station. If you prefer a more premium coffee or a speciality coffee drink, then Cove Cafe on Deck 9 forward is your best bet.

You want breakfast at Lumiere's! It is the only non-buffet breakfast on the ship most days. You can get anything from waffles to eggs benny to smoothies.

For quick coffee you can go to the drink station on deck 9 or for espresso drinks you can pop into the Cove Cafe.

The breakfast menus have changed more than any other over the years. Actually, the "specialty" items on the Lumiere's menu are really good. The french toast, waffles, etc. here are lots better than Topsiders. And for a quick, light breakfast, the yogurt parfaits, etc. at Goofy's are wonderful.

Quick morning coffee--room service with a delivery time or a fast run to the beverage station should take care of you.

topsiders can get crowded and it seems to be more families in there. If you opt for a sitdown breakfast it may take longer...overall I feel that topsiders is a great place for breakfast even though it is a little crowded most of the time

If you are up early you get the strawberry or mango smoothies at Goofy's galley.

I vote for the buffet (on days when it is open) at Parrot Cay. 3 days of the 7 day it is Character Dining.

It was never too crowded at Topsiders for breakfast when we were there, and it was nice to be able to sit outside when the weather was nice. I can't say that I was thrilled with the selection at either Topsiders or Lumiere's. Both are your average, run-of-the-mill breakfast fare. One note - if you like big eats, be sure to order double or at least check w/ the server re: the portion size at Lumiere's. My hubby ordered pancakes on our last day, and they gave him 3 dollar-sized ones (stacked like Mickey Mouse). Gave me a HUGE laugh but DH wasn't too thrilled about it. hehe

Breakfast at Triton's/Lumiere's is a MUST DO for us - it is downright delicious!!! You can sneak a peek at the menu in the AM - they have it posted outside the restaurant, so if you decided not to eat there, no big deal. It's a la carte, though, and they can pretty much get you whatever you'd like (within reason).

Another vote for the eggs benedict at Lumiere's / Tritons!! :thumbsup2 When we're in a hurry to make an excursion we hit Topsiders / Beach Blanket...but if we don't have a time line to make then we do sit-down. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Rarely have I found Topsiders too crowded to have a leisurely breakfast. (And the exceptions are usually when it is raining or chilly) so I wouldn't let that steer me away. I love eating breakfast outside.

But if you are looking for waffles or french toast, I might try alternate venues. Usually the pancake/waffles are pretty heavy and dry -- guess it's hard to keep light and fluffy for a buffet. Palo's brunch is always a good choice for one of your sea days. Lumiere's does have some nice selections so we usually go there once or twice just to break up the monotony of the buffet.

My kids are, in general, disappointed with the pancakes anywhere on the ship, but I like to assume it's because we are pancake experts and mine are unequaled. :lmao:

They're flat and thin. We like fluffy. That said, we tend to be happier overall with Topsiders/Beach Blanket than the sit down breakfasts. We are a family of 5 and rarely thought it was too crowded. But I'm looking forward to finally being able to try the Palo Brunch.

We really like the sit down breakfast at Lumiere's. You can always ask for something special if you dont like what is on the menu.

We enjoyed Topsiders. Id say that the best breakfast was at Lumiere's however....
