Where's the beef?!! (Are you a meat-eater?)

Beef is my favorite, especially a good steak. :sunny:
Chicken is second.
Turkey is third.
Pork is fourth, but still loved.

I love fresh fish too -- blackened catfish, mahi mahi, swordfish, and shrimp and crablegs and lobster.

I've been a lacto-ovo vegetarian for 25 years--since I was 14.

"No food with a face." :)

DH & I don't eat beef. I use ground turkey for burgers, taco, sloppy joes, chilli etc... Can't tell the difference to me. I also eat chicken & pork. Not much of a seafood eater either.

We dont worry about mad cow. I grew up on a farm and we raise our own beef completely organic. We grow thier food so we know exactly what they are eating. We also eat chicken and pork and sometimes buffalo.

I pretty much only eat white meat. I don't really like the taste of red meat, but I'll have a burger every once in awhile when the mood strikes me.

I don't eat beef, but I eat more seafood and organic chicken.

I won't eat pork or raw seafood or sashimi unless I am in Hawaii.

Meat Eater here....although I don't eat organs like another poster mentioned. I don't really do seafood...only tuna, calamari, and clam chowder(on occasion).

give me a big old steak and I am happy. Even better if it's bison. Last week I was having leftovers for dinner and we were out of the meat and I felt like I was missing something. It did not feel like a meal!!!!

I no longer eat red meat or pork. Sometimes I'll have chicken, but it's on a rare occasion.

I prefer meals with pasta, lots of veggies and cheese!

I like seafood as well, but not clams, oysters, mussles, calamari, etc. Mainly just crab and lobster.

Beef, chicken, seafood, turkey, pork, venison, even rabbit occasionally are served at our home (personally I hate the rabbit but my dh likes it a lot). Mostly though we stick to fish, chicken and turkey, about 5 days a week our dinner's entree is comprised of one those three items for health reasons (lower in fat and/or calories).

No red meat and no babies (lamb/veal)

I eat poultry and pork. They taste too good to give up.

Red meat--yuck!

And the others--just can't do it.

I just had to comment on your post. We have a grocery store here in Traverse City called Olsens and they have a special section that sells various forms of buffalo meat! I never would've thought about eating that but alot of people must for them to sell it. I've never tried it.

Olsens owns a huge grassy area right in town where the buffalo live so as you are driving by you see all these buffalo. It's so funny. My SIL from CA came out for a visit awhile back and as we were driving by she says "Are those buffalo over there?!!" Yup. :goodvibes

There was a Emu and Ostrich farm we used to stop at just outside of Solvang CA and my DH had some emu jerky once. None for me thanks! :goodvibes

My step-dad is Philippino and he used to eat this thing called balut eggs which is a fertilized duck egg with a nearly-developed embryo inside that they boil and eat. Yuck!!!!! It's so bad it was featured on Fear Factor as one of the challenges. But he said it was considered a delicacy. Oh well, to each their own. ;)

I eat all kinds of meat but for the most part, find that it's overated. :)

At home I only buy chicken breast, ground turkey breast, ground chicken breast and fish (tuna, flounder, salmon, tilapia, sole). When we eat out we occasionally eat red meat. I don't cook red meat at home for health reasons, but I do like it. I find that all recipes you can make with ground beef taste just as good or even better with ground turkey breast!

I'm a meat eater :thumbsup2
