Santa Where's Santa????

First ever WDW trip leaving Christmas day. Does anyone know if Santa will Be around? We'll be staying off site at the Ramada Eastgate.

Any help will be appreciated!:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Hi again, Karen! We saw Santa two places last year.

- At the American Adventure in Epcot's World Showcase. He appears at regularly scheduled times during the day and evening to tell the story of Santa Claus, pose for pictures, etc.

-At the Downtown Disney Marketplace, they have a tradional Santa "greeting", like at the mall. You wait in line to sit on Santa's lap, tell him what you want, get your picture made, etc.

We also saw "Santa Goofy" at the Animal Kingdom.

Have fun!

 Hello again!

Gem, what would I do without you. Thanks so much for all your info. I'd love to find a Santa Goofy. Was he in the Magic Kingdom?

Christmas in Disney here we come:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

The only time we saw Santa Goofy greeting guests at the MK was during the Christmas party. He might have been around, but we didn't see him.

We met him in Camp Minnie-Mickey at the Animal Kingdom. He was posing for pictures and signing autographs.

You can also have breakfast with Santa Goofy at Donald's Breakfastosaurus in the Animal Kingdom. I found this little blurb on Deb Willis's site:

"DISNEY'S ANIMAL KINGDOM celebrates the yule with a little help from Donald Duck, Santa Goofy and other cartoon pals. From November 29, 2002-Jan. 1, 2003, Donald will host a special holiday edition of “Donald’s Breakfastosaurus” in DinoLand U.S.A. For more information or priority seating arrangements for the special character dining experience, guests may call 407-WDW-DINE."

We've made arrangments to do this breakfast while we are there in December. It sounds like fun. If you call to make a priority seating, don't be surprised if the CM doesn't know anything about the special Chirstmas version. Just go ahead and make a priority seating for breakfast at Donald's. It should be lots of fun. If you really want to make sure to see Santa Goofy, this might be the best way to do it!

In fact, if you haven't seen it yet, you might want to check out this link to Deb Willis' website. It has lots of great information about Christmas holiday happenings!

Gem,

Thanks for leading me to the holiday website. Thats exactly what I'd been looking for. The sight answered all of my Christmas questions. you've got me sooooo excited:Pinkbounc for our trip!

Your help has been very much appreciated.

I'm so glad the information was helpful to you. Be sure to check out the other information on Deb's site. There is TONS of great information there about where to eat, what to do in the parks, great stuff outside the parks, etc. The address for the main page is www.wdwig.com

If you are planning on eating any meals at WDW, you might find the menus in the "Dining" section really helpful. It lists the menu choices and prices at all the WDW counter service and sit-down restaurants. Happy planning!

According the the Disney article in our local newspaper, Santa will be at the following places: magic Kingdom, Downtown Disney, various resorts (not all of them), and in World Showcase (EPCOT).

You shouldn't have any trouble finding him!

Oh, and this year...Santa Goofy will be at Animal Kingdom in Camp Minnie/Mickey

Thank-you Webray.

I'll check out those places for Jolly ole St. Nick. What newspaper did you find this info? Just curious.

By the way if your in the Orlando area do you know anything about the Ramada Eastgate?

Thanks again for the info!:smooth:

We found Santa Goofy right inside the store when you come off the Backstage Tour at MGM Studios. He was just standing back there and if you didn't look to your right as you exited the AFI Display you would miss him. I got a great pictures with the kids and him.
