UGH - what is with the can't sleeps. Little One up at 3 am -

Little one is sleeping in my bed with DH - he went to work at 2 am to work with the late shift-

Good Afternoon- I have had quite a morning!

DH got up to head to class this morning and his headlights weren't working so he had to take my car and I have had to get rides everywhere I need to go.

I need to work on a variety of things but since I woke up so early I think a nap is needed and then I will decide on what is most important and forget about the rest of my list.

Tonight - I'm the auctioneer at our local garden club annual plant auction. This is always lots of fun! Shamrock and I are going and hoping TinkerBean joins us...

i'm giving it a good fight. or at least trying to anyways.

its been a bear of a week.
bubba has gotten off the bus all week crying. i mean having a complete melt down crying. the bus driver is yelling at him each afternoon. his water bottle (which he is required to have a re-usable one) feel out of his backpack side pocket and she lost in on him. about eating and drinking on the bus. i'm going to tell your mother, i'm going to kick you off my bus for not following the rules......oh geez. if you know my bubba he is a "rule follower to the letter"
so this upset him.
yesterday he got on the bus and said to the little boy that is at our bus stop isn't it hot in here? and he lost it yet again. DONT THINK YOU ARE GOING TO OPEN THE WINDOWS MR! he would NEVER do that. it's not him. i'm going to tell your mother, i'm going to kick you off my bus......REALLY LADY????
i told him she's still mad that we won the first battle with which side to drop him off on.
AND
the little boy that bullied him last year is at it again this year.

i've had it. i'm done. how many weeks has he been in school? 3?

good grief.

OMG!!! i'd be on the phone to your principal, school board pres, transportation head, the driver has some major problems! to pick on little kids is not NICE!

I'm so glad Megan doesnt have to ride the bus!
keep us updated, we know you will get this solved just like you did about the drop off problem!

Holly that is pathetic. I'd be screaming at that woman. I'm a witch when it comes to things like that. Give Bubba a hug for me. Do Nan and I need to visit your bus stop? Hang in there and don't let it go another day. Call everybody. and hang in there on the cold.

Christy - I love your posts. Its stuff we would post here. I want a horse trailer!! What time of the year do you calve out there? We are calving now and they are so darned cute running around in the evenings.

We are all fighting the cold too! What is up with that?

Oh my bleepin' heck, she's picking on him and making him CRY? I cannot believe this woman. She's obviously got some major issues and is peeved because you went over her head. Keep at it, get that witch fired!

I begged off the girl scout meeting last night, so I went over and picked up our paper work this afternoon. I've got to get them out to my girls!

Hope everyone is feeling better. I'm not going to be surprised when we all get colds, with these continuous weather changes!

Of course we can. Get some 100% cotton Ts at ACM and wash them. I have plenty of dyes. We can do it next weekend maybe (the 2nd or 3rd)?

Ok Holly, it's time to take control of this bus driver.. What time do Christy and I need to be there... because I'd be droppin' him... You need to call the school transportation office and set up a meeting with them....if they are required to have this then he can't stop them from carrying it.. he has to support the school rules!!! The bus driver is not acceptable in his actions..... I could go on about this.... but I"m mad now!

I'm finally back online after being without an internet connection at home for too long. It's just so hard to make an appointment for the technician to come out when we both work such crazy hours. But we're back in business now (fingers crossed!).

I've skimmed through the stuff I've missed. Big hugs and prayers and pixie dust all around.

Holly - clearly that bus driver has some major issues. I hope you can get some resolution soon.

Crazy couple of days. I was out of the house all weekend so the normal at home stuff didn't get done - I feel like (and it looks like) a tornado hit. Then spent the past couple of days off running around doing errands. Trying to chip away at the to-do list, but not making much progress. Luckily I'm on vacation next week, and it will mostly be a stay-cation, so I'm looking forward to catching up on everything then.

I worked today and then went searching for cowboy boots for DS to wear in the play. I guess men in Tallahassee don't wear cowboy boots because I can't find any! I can find them for women and kids. DH is trying to see if we can borrow a pair from one of the guys he works with, if not, maybe I'll just buy a pair off ebay. They need to be old and beat up, so that should work.

Boo Hiss - Not liking this Bus Driver Holly. Does this driver really want want all of Bubba's Dis Aunties showing up...

Had to bow out of the garden club auction. Had to have emergency oral surgery today. They had to pull a crown (took an hour to get it out) and put in a bone graft. I'll have to wait for 5 months for that to heal before they can put in a dental implant. So tonight it's mashed potatoes, lots of pain killers and ice packs. DH is taking good care of me...

Holly I'm still so peeve'd at this woman Five mins with nan and I I bet she'll never stand tall again. Please make those phone calls first thing in the am NO child deserves this treatment from an adult. Never mind someone connected to the school.

Johnna we cale april and may + on late one in july. Normally the bull goes out to pasture on July 1st. For us we are approaching weaning season. It's about to get noisy around here. The trailer actually let california over 18 years ago and it wasn't new then. It was used for mules here. None of my horses would fit comfortably in it. My Appy wouldn't have a chance of fitting her butt in it. the tb/qh maybe and the arabian iffy. It will be great for goats, chickens and the smaller cows. Our Plan is to use it for a yr or two fix it, give it a paint job then sell it for hopefully 200 more than we paid. so we'll see.
