Thanks Christine !! Today Carol forwarded me a note card from one of the guys !!It was to Thank us and say he wanted to travel with us again !!!

Day 2 was Epcot Day !! We had a ressie at Akerhaus in Norway for Breakfast with the Princesses !!It was our first morning of getting everyone up and ready !!As usual there are those who are up and ready bright and early and those who are not !!There are those who can be counted on to brush their teeth,wear clean clothes etc etc !Then there are those who need LOTS of encouragement . Our 2 toughies were Mike and Marc We made it t Epcot just before rope drop ad as we had a ressie were able to get in early , so we walked quickly .. well as quickly as wa possible as Tommy walked VERY slowly and with his eyes closed which meant I kept hold of himI think it was his eyesight that made it easier to be led that open his eyes W arrived a little early for our 9:20a ressie


Her we waited for our call to dine !!

We were soon seated and grabbed some yummies from the buffet section of the meal, they had smoked salmon and other fishy things , fruit , bagels and danishes etc , all very yummy


Pretty soon the Princesses started showing up










As there were a couple of birthdays either during or shortly after the trip, and someone told them



Birthday cupcakes for 3 !!!

I will leave of here and continue with our first full day and dealing with the DAS!!!

Looks like everyone had a wonderful time at the breakfast and enjoyed meeting the princesses (but I have to say those princesses don't look like "the" princesses).

I haven't ever done Akershus. How do you rate the food? It looks like there were a few in the group who were more excited to meet the Princesses.

Where's my suitcase, huh? My question would be where's Wooden Marv? No window seat on the flight down? No tucked safely in his bed?? I guess he is now stuffed in a drawer somewhere and long forgotten. Do I need to send Security down there for your next trip to make sure you aren't slacking off with a key member of your travelling party???

Oh Wooden Marv was there !! He led them around a few times , but I haven't come across pix of him yet !!! He even got a brand new spoon for the trip !!Don't worry he will be going again in a few weeks I really liked the breakfast , if Carol ever gets back on here she can comment on it too !! I liked the small buffet choices and thefood was great , sausages , bacon eggs , delish potatoes , and Thanks to Pat w askedfor andgot Mickey waffles which were a HUGE hit !! Te other meals the do OT appeal at all !!!What is really nice is include is a photo package , with 10 of us we got 3 packages . We dd 4 in one package and four in another and then Carol and I did one !!

We had FP+ for the Character Spot right after breakfast, so we Hightailed it over there and met up with Pat



Mickey was our first stop




Next was Goofy



who started really interacting with the group





Why are we not surprised that Michael is messing with Goofy


Then it was Miss Minnie who Michael is flirting with





Then Minnie took him over to see Mickey





After all that excitement , it was really the very best ever Greeting

From there we headed to The Seas

I kept thinking of Mark and "Mine Mine Mine !!!"

Inside we soon arrived at the Clams and convinced the CM's to slow them down a lot so no one fell





We headed up to watch Crush which they all enjoyed and then headed to the Land and just did stand bye for this





At some point we rode Soarin', Pat did we do this before The Seas or after the Boatride !!!

Any who we headed back to the World and at Pat's suggestion took the Boat



Oh Carol is gonna get me !!!!

Next up Via Napoli and some Food Porn!!!

The Interaction with the characters was awesome !! It was sooo funny when Minnie walked over to Mickey with the guys !!

So having lunch at Pop Foodcourt, I was disappointed my favorite Chicken Alfredo had been healthyfied I really wish Disney would stop trying to be my conscience !!!::

I hate that!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am all caught up, hopefully I am in one place long enough to get caught up everywhere. LOVE the walking the dog picture . So glad Pat was able to join and help out, the new DAS sounds like it was definitely a challenge, love the interaction with Minnie!!!!

Yes , you really needed to be there to see how GREAT the interaction was . Minnie was the best but Goofy was pretty good !!!

As for December 6 at the Yee Haw Bob show: I'm not sure yet. That is our night for Osborne Lights and the current plan is to go to Epcot afterwards for EMH's (and Mary and the girls fly home the next morning).

I'll be doing a recap at the end of my PTR with where the "major" DIS meet will be and hopefully our park days cross.
