Just returned from "The World" and was last there in January. On this trip I noticed there was no McDonald's in Downtown Disney and no McDonald's in any of the parks - not even the small locations that sold mainly fries and soda's. I must admit, I'd grab some fries at times. They are all gone, and the food choices that's now in those locations were doing little business. Anyone have any information on this? Did the clown and Mickey have a falling out?

The contract between Disney and McDonalds expired and they decided not to renew.

There is still a McDonald's near the All-Star resorts. This is the only McDonald's remaining on Disney property. It is not accessible via Disney transportation.

Just curious -- did Disney decide not to renew McDonalds, or did McDonalds decide to pull out of Disney? I'm guessing it's the first -- that the mouse decided to evict the clown, but wonder if anyone knows for sure.

There is one on the way to AKL. That is the only one that is still around.

Disney was looking for healthier options in the parks. McDonalds didn't fit in with that.
