Where's Goofy?

We were just in at WDW and I notice in Magic Kingdom the Goofy statue was gone from the benches.

We were there June 12-19?

My kids took the cutest pic with him in 2003 and I wanted to do another one on this trip. No luck

As of June 8th, he was being majorly freshened up in the service area behind Splash Mountain.

I hope he comes back soon! My DD took a picture with him and my father last time we were there and I want another this time around - we leave in 9 days!

I started this thread last year. So, I was hoping that after a year, he'd be back. Can anyone confirm that? He was sitting on a bench in Magic Kingdom I believe near the entrance.

In December 2005 he was sitting on his bench in front of Tony's Town Square. Maybe someone who has been there more recently can confirm if he is still there.
