Where's Donald???

The only time we saw Donald Duck last year was on a parade float......does he ever come out for meet and greets? Seems like the only place to see him is if you're lucky at a character breakfast or on the parade float. I'm just remembering what DL was like as a kid....so many more characters. Seemed like everytime we turned around last year we saw goofy and pluto. Anyone else is just a hit or miss.

I have seen him in ToonTown and I saw him in the Opera House on a rainy day during the 50th.

Hi again! We saw him in Toontown, in Mickey's house. Full disclosure = that was during the tail end of MTTMM, so I don't know when he's out during normal TT hours.

You can ask CMs, especially those with the pins that say "ask me about characters", for the whens and wheres of characters like that.

And in case you want to see Daisy, seems like she hangs out over at the Lilo and Stitch breakfast at PCH Grill.

Every time we've gone we have seen Donald hanging around the Town Square. All our pictures with him have been there. He must be hit or miss. We also saw him this past summer having a drum off with the drummer that plays around Main Street. We have been in Feb, July and December and each time it was the same place.

Last week he was in front of the Mad Hatter on Main Street about 1:30 in the afternoon.

We saw him on Main Street in December in his Xmas garb but the line was too long to wait. Some day I will see him, Daisy, and Aurora... lol..

We saw him a couple different mornings as soon as soon as the park opened in town square. We were there in December though.

Well sounds like he is out and about...I will just make sure we hunt him down this time around. I didn't know certain CM's wore buttons saying that Bumbershoot..I will definitely keep my eye out for them Thanks everyone!

Whenever I see Donald (rarely), it always seems to be in Toontown in front of Five and Dime.

It's rare but when we have seen him it was on main street early in the morning, like when the park first opens. Haven't had the opportunity to get a photo with him yet but we would really like to.

We usually see him in Toon Town, and occasionally at the front of the park. One thing we were told about Donald in June is that he is, well a difficult character to get out if it is windy. I guess the way the costume is made his head could blow off in a wind storm

Ive seen Donald loads of time on Main Street as you enter the park.

Before the princesses took over Ariel's Grotto, we saw Donald at the character meal there. Have also seen him on Main Street.

We saw him at Goofy's Kitchen last April, and last November we saw him, along with Goofy, Mickey, Minnie and Pluto near the Mad Hatter store where the parade comes and goes. We actually got a picture of our whole family with all 5 characters at once! It was awesome, except my daughter has her eyes closed! Where are the Photopass people when you need them?!

My sentiments exactly! We were there this past December and my husband and I commented several times on how great it was that so many characters were out and about all the time. Maybe because it wasn't peak time. But, in our 5 days there, we never once saw Donald out and about - only in the parade and in Fantasmic. He is my favorite character and I'm not sure why he's so scarce. We saw the other 4 and chip and dale soooo many times, but no Donald. Bad luck I guess...

We saw Donald in a drum-off on Main St. last March---he took kids up to play with him---super fun.

Updating my answer...he was the first character I saw on Friday. Right there in that center area (I really have to get my terminology straight) between the bank and city hall.
