Where's ConcKahuna?

Didn't Conck's parter have cancer not too recently?

In that case, I can see where "whew, it was JUST gallstones" is what they'd say. MUCH better than a relapse.

Excellent point, but gallbladder pain.....ugh. Poor guy!

Jaysus, ConcK you sure know how to have bad days. :( I am so relieved for you on both counts. You must have been beside yourself until you found out about the gallstones (and not a recurrence of ...).

Poor African Grey! :( Thank goodness the hawk didn't do more damage. :(

I'm thinking you and your DP AND your birdies all need a nice vacation.

Take care now!

He has Hairy Cell Leukemia. Not much the doctors can do about it, but then again it doesnt tend to be deadly (at least not quickly). I'm always scared when he gets sick that some other form of cancer has popped up though :guilty:

I am glad you got your beloved bird back ......I would have been so upset too.......and I hope your DP is well soon

OK so now that the story is out, can I say?

(I've been dying to say this all week!)

"Most little birdies would fly away, but the Tiki Room birds are here every day!"

:thumbsup2

Glad things are getting better for you!

MIKE! LOLOL! That's a bit irreverent, eh? LOLOL!

Perfect quote though. :teeth:

Ouch. I didn't remember what kind it was. No wonder you're leery of other health issues!

I'm glad things are getting better for you, but I'm still gonna keep sending positive thoughts your way. :thumbsup2

OMG, Conc, I'm so glad you and your partner are managing his illness.

And praise be, so glad you were able to retrieve your African Grey. :thumbsup2

ftr, I'd be frantic over the feathered friend too. ::yes::

David-

So glad your little tweety is back home! :)

Boy - your poor partner has been thru the medical wringer -
hope he's feeling better soon. :flower3:

I'm sorry to hear that you had such a rough couple of weeks.

But, I'm glad to hear that your bird survived and that your husband's illness isn't worse. Take care of each other!
