If money was no object where would you stay and why?

DF and I are trying to figure out where to stay for our honeymoon (mini)

Poly or Contemporary?

If money were no object, I'd go big - the Grand Floridian!! LOL.. It just looks so gosh darn pretty..:goodvibes

Both! I'm taking a once-in-a-lifetime trip with my BFF in February and both the Poly and Contemporary looked so awesome we originally decided to do a split stay with three nights at the Poly (garden view) and two nights at the Contemporary (theme park view!). Although my dream trip would involve an awesome theme park view at the Poly also, this original plan was pretty darn close to my version of perfect.

Sadly, we are now staying only at the Poly, because it was a LOT cheaper (mostly because it was garden view vs. theme park view). Of course, we're doing this so we can add an extra day to the trip, so who am I to complain? :rotfl:

absolutely positively stay at the CR..book MK view...rooms are huge and I personally think better for your honeymoon.
I have stayed at both and while I love the POLY...think CR will be more suited for young couple

Poly because I think it has a more romantic exotic feel.

When are you getting married? I last stayed at CR in Jan 2009 and at the Poly in May 1992, with another stay scheduled for Nov 2010. My vote would go to the Poly, but may need to do another evaluation based on stays more closely to each other.

I'd choose an Epcot resort even though it wasn't a choice. S&D, BW, BC or YC.

Me too. I actually got the opportunity to stay at the Grand Floridan a few years back and absolutely loved it! My next favorite would be Animal Kingdom Lodge, just because of the animals, of course.

Wilderness Lodge. While you might get lucky and get a theme park view. I love the feel of the resort and being so close to the campgrounds which is my next favorite. I also love fireplaces, which there are 7 fireplaces throughout the Lodge. My favorite is the one on the third floor above the entrance, or the one in the Spike Iron room.

I would go with a tower room with a MK view in the Contemporary but you can't go wrong with either.

Beach Club. Out of the ones you mentioned, Poly (although I find it a little cheesy, I never liked the Contemporary and find it dated. I'd take cheesy over dated).

Our "dream" trip a few years ago (we figured it would be our last trip for awhile so we splurge) was a split stay at the Beach Club and the Grand Floridian. Was disappointed in the GF. Wish we had our whole stay at the Beach Club.

MK view in the Contemporary!

My favorites so far have been Animal Kingdom Lodge, Wilderness Lodge, Beach Club and Boardwalk.

Neither the Poly or Contempory have excited me.
