Where would you stay with an infant?

:yay: If you enjoyed MGM I would say BWV orBCV, I only stayed at those 2 properties when my twins were babies. No folding the stroller, which is darn near impossible with 2 infants and a diaper bag. ;)

That said i would go with BCV because like others have said it's alot of fun to sit with the little ones in the sand play areas of the pool. I stayed there alot when the boy's were little for that reason. once they were moblie and in that pool it was a differant story !:scared1:

I stayed in studios several times when the boy's were infants. I nursed so bottles were not an issue. I bought disposable bowls and spoons. rather than wash them. and a small package of small garbage bags for diapers. I never would leave them in the room. if you need the washer have hubby or you run and do a quick load of laundry. Just bring your soap from home for no rashes!:laundy:
honest it was never a problem for me.

When my boy's were just under a year.. i was at BWV in a studio... 2 infants. and my brother showed up with my nephew. so it was me db 41,dn 15 and the 2 babies.( my other 2 went across the hall with nana.) We survived no problem infact we were not bothered at all. it was a wonderful trip.
You hubby and the baby will be just fine.:wizard:

We only have "points issues" in that I would have to borrow from next year for a 1 bedroom and I'm tired of being in the borrow mode (been that way since we bought our resale). So we are doing a studio just to make up for it and then banking the points so we have more choices for the next year.

I'm going against the tide on this one! I would look into AKV - we LOVED AKL when we stayed there before & I am dying to do an add-on there one day! I think that you mentioned that your DH was interested in trying it and their point charts are VERY reasonable (a Savannah view studio in May is only 117 points for a week and a "std" view is only 99 points)! I don't think you can beat those rates! If you're looking to cut back on points this is the place! We saw the models when we were there in Aug - just gorgeous! I vote for AKV!! It's also a beautiful property for just hanging out & lounging around - so if you're not planning to go commando it would be especially relaxing and enjoyable! :thumbsup2 OH! And if you've never tried BOMA - YUMMMMM!!! It's my most fav. restaurant ever! It's the BOMB!!:goodvibes

Oh agreed!! You NEVER want to keep a dirty diaper in the room with you! WHEW!!:lmao: Those things get ripe in a hurry!! Do they make a portable travel size diaper genie yet?! :goodvibes

We pretty much stay in "borrow mode" and it works for us. Don't have to worry about banking. I think I banked 5 points this year. It isn't like you pay interest on them or anything - I guess in 40 years or whatever we'll run out of points a year before everyone else.

Thanks again for all the advice! I was planning on bringing small trashbags and plastic ones with me for the trip no matter what. The small plastic ones for when I change a diaper in the park. No one wants to smell that and if I can tie it up to help contain the smell for the others, I difinitely want to do that!!!!

We most likely are changing our week to the last week of April/1st week of May though. I talked to my husband and since spring break should be done by then based on the polls and an early Easter, the crowd level hopefully won't be too bad.
He still wants a studio with the idea that we can do laundry in the laundry room on our mid-day break if need be. So I will go with that.

We really want the ability to take some family with us in the next year or so and stay in a 2 bedroom. When you only have 210 points a year, that means you have to save up now and then ;) We know doing that will require banking and borrowing for us. After that we can pretty easily do 1 bedrooms any time of year.

Annie, we've visited AKL before just for Boma. I'm the odd one and hated it there though  I just cannot tolerate coconut and curry though. My DH loves it!!!!

I do think our order will be BCV, VWL and then AKV for order of preference. Now I just have to decide if it is worth calling every day to tack on our choice of BCV or just risk it and call for the whole trip at once.
