Where would you stay July 4th with no park (2026)?

Next year my family of 4 (DH and I, 2 teenage sons) are going on a cruise on the Treasure June 27-July 4. We will come a few days early and go the parks then, but will also have 1 night at the end of the cruise. So, if you were going to stay onsite for July 4th, but not go to a park, which resort which you choose?I think we will hang out poolside, and would love if we had a spot to watch fireworks in the evening. I don't mind splurging a bit, as it's only for 1 night.

Poly for the fireworks. Guessing you’re checking out on July 4 per your dates above but you should be able to see the fireworks on July 3 as well.

I have done resort only stays for July 4th. Poly has the best wide angle view but it’s lower in the sky and feels at a distance to me. CR is closer to MK and kind of makes you feel like you are in the show but you have two focus points, the middle of the lagoon and the MK, since fireworks are going up from both. We had TPV rooms at both, so we could watch from our balcony.

I agree - if you want to see the fireworks on July 4, book Poly!!

Grand Floridian would have fireworks view from Gasparilla Grill, and Contemporary from their viewing platform on the 4th floor, but Poly is the most straight-on view and therefore the best.

Thanks everyone! I was already leaning towards the Poly, it seems like the overwhelming response is for that resort as well. I gather from the bit I read, and the responses here, that there are no good viewing areas from the Boardwalk resorts if we decided to watch the Epcot fireworks instead?

From the Crescent Lake resorts you can see the very highest Epcot fireworks, but it's nowhere near as impressive as the MK fireworks, where you can see everything except the projections on the castle.

You can book Fireworks View rooms with or without a balcony at the Dolphin. I much prefer the MK fireworks, but if you want to be in the EP area, it's not a bad choice and would most likely be more cost effective than Poly.

Thanks for the idea. I will probably spring for the Poly, but it's something to keep in mind, especially if the price difference is significant.
