Where would you stay if you weren't doing the parks?

DH and I are pondering an idea...

We'd like to head to the Disney area for my kids spring break. We were just at Disney over Christmas....and will be returning again in July. We will buy AP's at the time and will do 4-5 Disney trips in the next year.

Since we don't want to spend the $$ on tickets...we were thinking we would find a GREAT resort with lots of things to do for the kids! We would still like to go to Downtown Disney, Boardwalk area, watch fireworks at the Poly, etc. So we would want to be close by.

Suggestions?

Orange Lake has a ton of activities internally. Summer Bay looks like it might, as well, and is close enough for the infrequent trip in.
