Where would you rather go? Vegas or New York?

Hi Beauty! Only been to Las Vegas once. The lights, hotels etc are beautiful. The casino smoke...forget it! Not really a fun town for kids in my opinion. I know you didn't mention Branson at all, but we really enjoyed it there. Would love to take the grandchildren sometime. Lots to do for the whole family. Just a thought in case you're thinking of a third choice.

We just got back from our first Vegas trip and I prefer NYC. To me there is no comparison. Of course you are talking more than just Vegas -- Grand Canyon, don't forget Hoover Dam, you could do the Painted Dessert, Sedona, etc. If you decide on NYC let us know, I have tips on stuff to do. I LOVE New York!!

I'd choose Vegas! We tried to go to Vegas every chance we got in the 10 years we lived in L.A.! The Grand Canyon is so perfect for J-C to see too!

NY....ehhhh, as someone else posted, just hit the New York, New York resort in Vegas!!!

Wherever you guys decide to go, have a great time & a safe trip!

As I was reading this, I was formulating my thoughts and then Michelle posted them almost the same as I would say. The attempt to market Vegas to families has, as admitted by the folks in Vegas, failed. They are getting back solidly to the 'adult' entertainment. I could see a 'western' trip, as she said, I think the beauty (no pun) of the West is unparalleled, but Vegas is not for John-Cole, IMO.

New York, the city of the world. So much to do, so much to see!!!!!
