Where would you move?

Every winter, I decide I need to live somewhere else - somewhere warmer - and spend hours on the Internet investigating other cities. By spring I forget about it, although if I ever found a perfect place, who knows? Right now, California is looking good!

Where would you move if you found a great job with all relocation expenses paid, if everyone in your family was glad to move, if your pets could fly in the cabin of the plane with you if the move required a flight somewhere?

I used to live in California, if I could, I would go back. Southern California, the most beautiful place.

I grew up in Santa Barbara, Ca, and would move back in a heartbeat if DH got the right offer...and it would have to be really good because cost of living there is pretty steep. But I miss it, especially right about now.

I'm planning on the lower West coast of Florida around Port Charlotte. I would be there right now except my wife "isn't ready" for me to retire yet. When I left home this morning I told her to give a lot of thought to January, but she didn't take that very well.

I always liked California when I was out the in my Navy days, but it's too far to move to.

Actually I've come to the conclusion that Boston, MA would be a perfect city for me! It is a "snowy" place too, though!

Im torn between 2 places. I would love to live closer to Disney, then I could go more often however the beauty of Hawaii is hard to pass up also. We went on our honeymoon there and it is so beautiful, like the big island or Maui. Ah well so much for dreaming no moving for us for atleast 20 yrs, no transfers on my dh job so we have to wait til he retires.

I liked living in Virginia Beach and LOVED living on Chincoteague Island in Virginia. I would move back to either one.

Hawaii--definately Hawaii. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200--just take me there!

Or Venice or Rome, Italy. I lOVE Italy. I want to rent a place in Venice for about 6 months when DH is done with school in 5 LONG years.

We had all of those great years in the Navy when there is actually a chance to live in those places (or nearby) and we never made it out of Virginia.

Well, I love Hawaii and the weather is great year round there, but I also like the seasons and I hate the long flight back "home" for family visits, so I guess I will just stay put in good old Minnesota! I might be convinced to spend the months of Jan. and Feb. somewhere else though!
