Where would you live?

I'd live in Oberammergau, Germany.. I've absolutely never felt more at home in my life than when I was there. It's the most perfect little mountain town, and it's also the home of the Passion Play every 10 years. :lovestruc I'd also keep an apartment in Munich, so I could still enjoy the city.

I'd spent my winters in Cha Am, Thailand.. my aunt was born & raised right outside Cha Am, and her pictures are so beautiful.

I happy right where I am, but I would really like to have a big yacht for a second home... say, about 150'. :thumbsup2

I am totally serious. Main Street USA at the MK during fall and winter then Disneyland spring and summer. The thought of a hurricane terrifies me. Tuscany or Napa if I couldn’t have Main Street. Somewhere with rolling hills and vineyards.

I have several places I would to live:

-Orlando, FL.
-New York City, NY.
-Southern California.
-London, Engand.
-Venice, Italy.

I would have a log home in the mountains of North Carolina. Vacationed there before and loved it. So pretty.

Well, DH and I have discussed retiring to Yorkshire, England and now that you've obligingly moved my dd over there for me, that's made the choice a little easier. :lmao:

For a less international move, though, I'd do Michigan in the summer and New Mexico in the winter.

I would stay in the New York City area -- a pristine brownstone in Brooklyn -- Park Slope or Brooklyn Heights.

Well, I love Colorado. But if I could live anywhere else it would be near Stratford, England.

I love living here in SoFL in the dream house we built. But I wouldn't mind a vacation home slope side in Deer Valley Utah. DS (10) always says he wants an island - mostly because he dreams of being a dictator - setting his own rules. I always think that would be lovely until I think about the grocery store being so far away.

I would live in Hong Kong, love the Repulse Bay area.

My retirement dream is the Keys, would love a home on Cudjoe Key!

In a nice smaller home, right on the lakeshore--Okoboji, Iowa--no question at all!:lovestruc

Would like a vacation home in Breckenridge, Colorado, but probably wouldn't spend more than a couple weeks per year there--would be content with my home on the lake.

I would live in Yosemite valley and build my house on the banks of Mirror lake. If we are only allowed to choose places you are actually allowed to live...I would live somewhere in the Sierra Nevada's. On a lake, With a big bottle of mosquito sray and a stack of books taller than me!

Our plan is to retire to Northern Europe, if, in fifteen years or so, if world affairs stay roughly as they are now. We'd go earlier if our careers weren't here. But I admit, Hawaii and New Zealand do lure with their, y'know, awesomeness.

me, i'd want to live close enough to disneyworld to see the MK fireworks from my back yard - maybe Clermont - but that's only a dream

-I would love to live in London
-Cinderella's castle (wishful thinking)
-I would really love to live on a cruise ship (I feel so relaxed and at peace)
