Dh surprised me with a trip to WDW next month to celebrate our anniversary. Its our 1st time visiting "the world." Now that flights, towncar, and hotel are reserved I'm worried about PS. I realize it may be a bit to late to get what we want, but I'm gonna try. Problem is we don't know what we want!!! Where would you go if you had 4 nights, without kids at WDW? We are thinking one PS per day (breakfast, lunch, or dinner... we don't mind trying a restaurant at lunch vs dinner to save $$$) with one fancy dinner on our last night. We will be bringing the kids next summer, so we'll save CRT, O'Hanas, and others the kids would enjoy till then. We are interested in checking out some of the different countries (esp. France and Morocco) and some of the other resorts. We are staying at POR this time, and AKL and Wl next summer. Thanks for your help!!! There is so much more here to worry about then Disneyland where I just have to get our Blue Bayou PS!

I suggest lunch at Kona Cafe, if you're going to MK. It's a wonderful mid-day break. Dessert is a MUST there.

We had a wonderful meal in France at Epcot. Wine is good. Food is rich and delicious.

Oh...scoping it out without the kiddies huh? LOL

Have a great anniversary! I have a fun suggestion for you to surprise your DH with. You can do it for either lunch or dinner and I would recommend getting a PS for the specific purpose of requesting it. It is called the "Rehitchin' Ceremony" and it is performed at the Garden Grill restaurant in Epcot. It is fun and really cute. It is a renewal of vows in Disney style and it is 100% free. I did this a few years ago and my DH actually liked it, how could you not love being recognized in front of the whole restaurant, and having your waiter "rehitch you" with Mickey and Chip and Dale as witnesses? Plus you get a certificate signed by Mickey (was a great addition to my scrapbook) and a cake that is so delicious! All you have to do is call and make a PS for lunch or dinner and ask them to note on your ressie "rehitchin' ceremony" and when you get to the restaurant it should be on your ressie, it was on mine. You usually eat your lunch, and then before dessert they do the "ceremony". It is good fun and a nice souvineir. You gotta do it at least once!

Ohana :)

Also, San Angel Inn has a really romantic atmosphere. Ask to be seated by the water.

Check out www.allearsnet.com for menus. My Dh & I travel both with & without kids. We like Brown Derby @ MGM, Flying Fish, Arist Point, Calf Grill, France. And for Breakfast Kona. I have heard that Fresh at Dolphin is great. Also check out www.wdwfood.com she is on this board & has wonderful reviews & pictures.

For one of the most romantic experiences, I would go to Victoria & Albert's in GF. It is probablythe most expensive place, but you can't beat the atmosphere or food. When DH and I spent our 1st anniversary there 4 years ago, with standard wine pairing, tax and tip, it came to about $300. But for that, you get a hot appetizer, cold appetizer, soup, salad, entree, cheese course, dessert and coffe/tea. Plus, wine with each course. But the time we got to the entree, we were both half in the bag ! :p

Anyway, V&A's is my suggestion for the most romantic. We also really enjoy Flying Fish on the Boardwalk and Chefs de France in Epcot.

Have a wonderful time!

Also, Palio at Swan Hotel is fabulous. DH and I were there last year. The ambiance is wonderful and the food fantastic. There is also a violinist wlaking around playing softly. He stops at every table and asks what you would like to hear, which he then proceeds to play for you right next to your table! He does not play loudly, so that doesn't ruin anyone's dinner. It is a beautiful restaurant, and I would definitely recommend making reservations.

Now you have me dreaming, LOL! ;)
Since we had a great childless experience at Yachtsman Steakhouse, Id have to go back to there. Id also like to try California Grille and Palio. And for 1 more meal, Ive been interested in Boma for breakfast for a while now, but have never made it over there, so that would be my 4th. :D
Enjoy your trip!
