Ok so I called today and I am booked for 7 night/ 8 Days ASMus, with base tickets and water parks.
As you all know I can't get my ADR's for October until July so I have a lot of time to decide but I was just curious.....
I will have a birthday while I am in Disney World and I can't decide where we should go.
I have 7 dinner total and there are a few places that I know for certain we will return too like, Coral Reef, Chef Mickys, Crystal Palace(maybe) and I want to try Cap n Jacks. I have only been to the World once so please tell me where would be a nice place for me to celebrate, #1 my birthday and #2 finially getting back to Disney after 4 long years?
Thanks everyone for the help. I can't wait to see your replys.

P.S. I have 5 children, ages below so I want to go somewhere that we will all enjoy and I love Sea Food, Mexican, and Chinesse are my favorites!:woohoo:

Last year I celebrated my Birthday with the children at Crystal Palace, then DH and I went the next evening to Narcoossee's. We love seafood and they had the most delicious seafood bisque and whole lobster! The almond-crusted cheesecake was amazing as was the pressed pot of coffee! It was a perfect birthday meal.

This year for my birthday we'll be going to CRT. We've never done dinner in the castle, hopefully it will be good :goodvibes

Both of those restaurants require 2 TS credits on the DDP.

If you're looking for 1 TS restaurants, then I'd say out of your list of Seafood, Mexican and Chinese the best restaurant to celebrate would be Coral Reef. I haven't heard anything about Captain Jacks since they removed the lobster from their menu.

Make sure to arrange for a birthday cake! :cake:

For my birthday I've booked Sanaa for lunch and Spoodles for dinner. But I have to admit that I am very tempted to change Spoodles to Yachtsmen Steakhouse for an extra special birthday dinner.

I was debating on a character breakfast (especially 1900 Park Fare or Ohana) but worry that 3 meals would just be too much.

Our first day in Disney is my birthday. Yay! I tried to get Chef Mickey's (that is our family's first night tradition) but they were booked solid until 9pm (too late for us to eat). Instead, we are going to 1900 Park Fare. We've eaten there before, but pre-step sisters. I've seen the pictures and they look hysterical. I have two boys (13 and 9) but since it's MY birthday, I get to choose the restaurant, even if it IS girly!!:lmao:

If I was spending my birthday in WDW with my family, it would be a tough choice on what kind of restaurant to go to.:confused3 I would be torn between upscale, fancy, adult only restauant celebration:snooty: or family oriented, totally disney fiesta:dance3:. I think a nice compromise is HDDR. It has humor, food, and drink for the whole family and is definetly a memorable experience.:grouphug: It is a must do for us every trip.:thumbsup2

I didn't know that. That changes everything.
I want lobster on my birthday I think. It just makes a meal more special I think. Don' you agree?>
Ok the problem is this.... I want to spend the day in the MK for my birthday and I am not spending the extra $200 or more dollars to add park hoppers so id we start the day in the MK then we can only return to the MK at night so I have to either find someplace outside the parks for my birthday dinner or at MK and nothing I know of strikes my fancy so to speak.
We did lunch at CRT and it was not for us. Pretty aweful in fact so what ever shall I do now?
Does Coral Reef still serve lobster? Please tell me I can get lobster on the DDP somewhere.:confused3

Narcoosee's - 2 TS credits - right outside the MK (at the Grand Floridian) so no need for park hoppers. Just take the boat over to the GF and you are right there at the restaurant.

I would celebrate at Ohana @ the Poly. It's so lively and fun and has a great selection of tropical drinks! I'd rather have that bread pudding than birthday cake any day!
